I apologize if this is here somewhere. I tried a Google search of the site and came up empty. My question is what are the benefits of a paid memebership ? I know that it allows you see all photos of other members and that it of course helps to support the site, but is there some other tangible benefit ? I'd say there may be the intangible benefit of fostering a deeper sense of ownership and pride in the site.

I would but being unemployed my money resources are needed for other more important things such as living expenses. Also perhaps a moderator or other paid memberes could weigh in on other benfits to paying that they discover after paying. LionNJReactReply - PApaulMar 30, 2011

Pay-to-view so to speak. Other than that, there is nothing the site offers that isn't available to everyone.ReactReply - MEMemberMar 30, 2011
Yep. Viewing more than 5 pictures of those members whose pictures are not closed to certified or friends only and supporting a terrific site. Those are the benefits. Period.

DanManMar 30, 2011The only benefit I have seen is to view more that 5 pics of your friends. Which I enjoy sharing with free thinking people. I was a paid member but when I switched from VISA to MasterCard I got cut off. TN does not accept MasterCard. It's a small charge, I don't understand. But I am OK with being an "unpaid" member.

That's what I used a couple of months ago.ReactReply - SU
Sunbeam65Original PosterMar 30, 2011So I guess I just have to look at a membership payment if one is to be made as support of TN, because I am not here to view photos, but rather to learn, build some acquintances and hopefully some friendships.

DesertRatMar 30, 2011I'd say you hit the nail on the head with your statement that "there may be the intangible benefit of fostering a deeper sense of ownership and pride in the site." I feel that this is the greatest site out there for the nudist community so I would like to do all I can to promote it. One of the ways of doing this is to be a paid member. But before I was a paid member, I was a sponsor. At the time, I didn't feel that I could afford the membership fee, so I made a much smaller donation just to show my support. On my profile you'll see my sponsor emblem. If you can't afford to become a paid member, I would encourage everyone to donate something.

renebbareMar 31, 2011As a member I paid to keep a good site - I doubt I will be renewing my membership as I no longer think my meagre assistance will help to keep the site 'truenudist'.
Sadly there are many here who will keep the coffers full or adequately covered and so the site will slowly meander in a downward spiral.
We fight the good fight but sadly it's a losing battle.ReactReply - DI

NoneJun 29, 2011It costs a lot of money to support a site this large. I have seen two car clubs on line disappear due to lack of paying members so my reasoning for paying is to try to keep the site going. As far as were concerned the pics are to prove ( hopefully ) you are who you say you are.

CabotCheeseJun 29, 2011I paid to support the site early on my membership. I had no idea that photos are limited to others; always thought seeing all the photos was normal.

( until after the fact ) Many, many, many months ago, when we had about 1/10 the membership we have now.ReactReply - JA

When I was a paid member I seldom looked at more than the profile picture of anyone I found interesting so additional pics were not of much interest to me but I did take pleasure in supporting what I considered a great site. I still consider it such but see it going downhill in quality of posts and have even questioned my continued participation in the site. Should it return to where it was a while ago I would again support it by paid membership but when there is a question as to whether I will even continue my free membership this is not an option..ReactReply - RE
renebbareJun 29, 2011My membership elapsed 3wks ago and I have not renewed it. By my count that will be 3 of us unhappy on this thread.
Mind you it upsets me that I have to do this, I liked the site and have been happy to contribute for nudism but I am not paying for the sexualised version that is now creeping in.ReactReply
