Is there anyway to block a member from your profile? I keep getting requests off one particular guy here who's proflle indicates he's only here for exhibitionism / voyeurism and I really don't want him getting his kicks from my pics!

I'll have to wait for him to send another request as I declined yet again. I don't like setting my pics to friends only because when I send a request or get one I prefer people to be able to see them. I might have to go down that route though. I haven't flagged anyone before but I might have to if he keeps bugging me.

You can set them to certified only.
Most of the type you describe are not certified.

Another item to add to TT1's list of potential improvements - when you block a friend request you can never receive another friend request from that same user.  I know I've got a someone who has more than a couple times, I've denied and denied and they ask again.  Time for a friendly note that says 'no thanks'.

    Thanks both.
Curt - I'll check my friends to see if they are all certified first.
Sunbeam - I did message him saying that he was on the wrong site and if he wanted that sort of thing he should look elsewhere.
Just got to hope he gives up and goes to a more appropriate site for his interests.

    The obnoxious requestor...
Typically, I'll accept, wait a day or two, then delete them.
    They never seem to notice.

By NEITHER accepting nor denying, they cannot send another friend request

I would recomend a brief note to him telling him personally that you don't wish to add him to your list and to please stop sending requests.
if he keeps it up after that, FLAG with good reason.

I know some people will say that multiple requests might be because they had forgotten that they sent a previous request which is entirely possible which leads me to wish that this site was like FB in that respect since you are notified on the profile page that a request had been sent.  But There are a few who fit the "mega multiple requests" group and I was forced to leave them there.  While I can't stand leaving it full, I've gotten used to it.  There are quite a few there now and some I eventually will accept, just want to know them a little more first.  If you leave them there, they can request till they are blue in the face and it won't matter.

Just state clearly on it, that you delete ALL friend requests, without even looking at them, and Invite members to write to you.     Ask them to state what they think you have in common, and why they would like to become your friend, along with a request, for YOU, to send -them- a friend request.     Then, you no longer need to be annoyed and frustrated at having to look at them all, to sift out the few that may be of interest to you. This will instantly identify those that did not bother to read your profile, and you can just simply delete or ignore them all!  :)I suspect that far fewer guys will bother, or even be capable, of writing an intelligent note, and you will have a far better way of assessing, what they are like, and, if you want to respond to them.

After the 3rd reject, I've been lucky.  The last one that kept asking for friendship several times and to whom I wrote a note, asked what I'm bothering him for.  Some times they get it, and sometimes they don't.

That makes NO sense to us. If you want us to accept your friend request, please: - Send us a message - In that message or subject include the word ###### If you don't we'll assume you're just looking to collect pictures or add names to your list."   So far its worked very well for us.  When a request/message come in, we know the person has an idea who we are and what were interested in.  YMMV

another way to solve this problem is to just dont deny it, leave it in your box, and they can not send another. I ahve about 120 in my inbox currently! LOL, worth a try?

XX Kate[/quote]  It's ok but in the end you have to dig through it all to find that one request you wanted to add. I don't have the problem LOL but a friend of mine here did and she is now whittling down her inbox.
