Is there a reason for NOT having a flagging option in the Groups? I've never flagged anyone before but I have just run across a post in one of my Groups that needs a good flagging in the worst way. Groups apparently don't have flags like the Main Forums do. Whyzat?

J.Oct 13, 2015I guess they figure group owners and their designated moderators can take care of their own groups. If there was a flag option, would it go to the site moderators, the group moderators, or both?

I've just assumed a flag is to get someone's attention who has the authority to do something .... or not. I don't even know what they would do other than delete the post and/or boot the offender from the group or, in this case, boot them off the site. It was an unadulterated spam post to maybe a dozen or more different groups from someone who had joined TN only a few minutes earlier. They must have been joining Groups and posting their message as fast as they could.
Edit: Just did a recount. It was 7 groups and 9 Forums. At least that's what's showing on the profile news feed.ReactReply - J.
J.Oct 14, 2015I think I know who you are talking about. Were they promoting a hookup website? I usually go right to their account and flag that. This particular spammer usually also hits the forums, where the individual posts can also be flagged.

J.Oct 14, 2015Unfortunately, yes. The average time a new username lasts is less than a day, but this person can't take a hint.
