I'm sure I'm not the only one peed off with having to constantly use the bottom scroll bar, especially when writing a post or comment. Maybe one day it will be changed, but until then, if we all put our screen name on the bottom as a signature, we would at least not have to keep sliding the bottom bar across to see "who is talking" as we scroll down to read the comments.
To do this you go, My Account Edit Profile Forum then fill in "My Signature" and Save Changes.

[/quote]To do this you go, My Account Edit Profile Forum then fill in "My Signature" and Save Changes. This is a screen resolution issue. You have your resolution set to make the font bigger. If you increase the resolution (which will make the font smaller), it will no longer have the scroll bars. You can accomplish the same thing by holding the ctrl key and using the mouse wheel to alter the font size inside of IE. You can quickly put it back to normal (100%) with ctrl-0 (Zero on the qwrty keys, not the number pad if you have it).

If you're no longer interested in the thread, don't read it. I have often come across an answer to a problem I needed answering that someone posed years ago, and then someone else was kind enough to give their solution many years after the original post was made. No one is forcing anyone to read 4 year old posts.

[/quote]Methinks that when one opens "Forums" from the top bar, and sees the categories, there is no sorting of any kind, so very old threads appear.

The top bar is the only way I've found. I understand this portion of TN is home-grown, and doesn't have any bells and whistles, but it is very hard to find and follow threads.

BobSep 3, 2012I guess some people are taking the advice to search for a topic before starting a new duplicate thread.
This particular topic would answer my point that this site is not small screen friendly (phones and tablets). If this site did word wrap [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Word_wrap] then the problem is solved. If you are reading this on a tablet rotate it from horizontal to vertical. Notice the horizontal scroll bar appears. If you follow the Wikipedia link above and do the same you will notice that the lines wrap at the margins and there is no horizontal scroll bar.
