Hi, I began to set up the webcam that was pre-installed on my laptop, but have come up against a problem.  The instructions tell me to link up with Windows Messenger; and in their contract it mentions that the messenger sholid not be used to transmit partial or full human or non-human nudity.  Which means that I would not be able to use it on here.
Can anyone suggest another system that is suitable that I could link to please?  Thanks.

    On the subject of human/non-human nudity, I guess they are just covering their ass in the same way that people who make movies do; claiming their copyright in domains yet to be colonised (space).

    Mine does this too.  Did you discover how to fix it?  I would love to know.

    I have no problem with the cam on my Mac.  I have iSight, which is a cam built into the computer.
    Sorry I can't tell you why.  I do know that some cams are not Mac compatible.

    Thank you for replying to the post.  I am such a non techi.  I have tried to follow your advice but my mac does not have a right click!  Just one big click button.  Is there another way to open stuff with out a right click!

I was having a problem with my iMac freezing the entire chat, also. It turns out using the Firefox browser was the culprit. It may have been my upgrade to Snow Leopard or my particular combination of equipment and the TN chat...I don't know. I went to the Safari browser and...ta daaa...all clear. I can use the bult in iSight cam or an external with no prob. Terry

Most of the legal disclaimers are some lawyer's idea of covering all bases.
