There really are a lot of people saying that this is by far the best site that they have found. Why do think that is. Obviously it's free and we are blessed with a good crowd. I don't understand what makes a good page, but I find the colours, and the colors even, :) easy on the eye, hope that never changes and someone said it was "uncluttered." There are a few features I miss, so there is room for improvement, but overall I think it's great. What do you like about it. Phil.

What I like about this site... Aside from the facts that it is free, easy on the eyes, uncluttered and easy to navigate, I personally like this site over the others because I find that most (not all) are here because they are indeed "true" nudists. The people we've "met" are what make it a great site. It is a community of supportive, nurturing, accepting and (mostly) informed people, willing to share ideas, thoughts, opinions. My husband joined several "nudist" sites before discovering TN and they all, while seeming good initially, quickly deteriorated into nothing more than sex/swapper/swinger/pick up sites. We've been members now for 6 months and I'm appreciative of how most members are willing to "self-police" to keep it atrue"nudist/naturist" site. While all human beings are sexual, nudism/naturism is NOT about sexuality. It's about preferring to not wear clothes! You wouldn't join a music site or sports site or cooking site, etc. just to "hit" on or "pick up" people. I'm impressed at how many people on this site really understand that and have embraced nudism as a way of life and do what they can to promote nudism in a healthy way. Of course, because it is a free site, there are those who do join for the wrong reasons, not understanding what nudism is about. But, I have to say, that there are fewer of those on this site than on any of the "paid" sites we've been members of. And they don't seem to last long when they understand that the community here doesn't tolerate abuse. I'm also impressed how TT1 (site admin) is single-handedly dealing with keeping the site true to it's original intent. The response to some issues may take a while, but he always addresses the issues in the long run. Jen

I really love this site too for many of the same reasons already expressed. As a newcomer to the nudism lifestyle I was able to learn a good deal of useful and helpful information from the more experienced members. Also since this site holds to the real core values of nudism, it is a safe and for the most part non-judgmental environment where I can feel comfortable sharing and exchanging ideas with others. I think TT1 has done an exceptional job setting up the site and operating it. I joined a couple of other sites simultaneously and this one is by far the best, to the extent that I almost exclusively spend my time here. I appreciate that the rules in place here along with the self policing that members do resists efforts to sexualize something that isn't sexual. I enjoy romance and my sexuality as much as anyone but that isn't what I want or expect from a site like this. I would not at all be interested in participating in a swinger site or one that emphasized sexuality. Finally, yes in no small part, it is the people here that makes this an exceptional site. While I have only "met" them through what is shared here in the forums and messages, there are many here who I have come to like and have great respect for. In a way, this site is almost like what I imagine being a member of a non-landed nudist group would be like.

I would like to add the the chat room on here is great too. I have met some great people on here, some who I have met in person and other that we are planning on meeting in the near future. I think two. of the biggest things that makes this a great site is the people here and TT1 working dilligently to keep this a site for true nudists. Thomas

Just put my toe in the water of TN to check the temp and it's just right. This site is the best, especially for new members. I appreciate the commitment to core values and variety of topics covered. Who knew a Scrabble group would have a running game going? Very cool.

Have to agree with you regarding chat - it's a good chat room where I've met people who I now consider friends. In chat rooms -anywhere- you will always have an inappropriate element . The chat room here is great because so many people look out for one another. Great example: Last night I was in chat, on cam, and for reasons of my own chose to be textile. Toto5 started criticizing and harassing me to take my clothes off. Before I even had a chance to respond to him, Txag, Steve_S, the Douglas's, Wall_E and the majority of people in chat let him know under no uncertain terms that demanding that one be nude was NOT acceptable. Thank you to all for supporting me! The forum here is great, the chat room is great, the groups are great...because of so many wonderful and genuine people. We may not always agree with each other, but the majority of people here respect one another enough to listen to each other, learn from each other and when need be - agree to disagree. I know I for one have had my horizons broadened by hearing so many different perspectives. Thanks, again to TT1, for providing this site! And thank you, Phil...excellent thread! Jen

It's the best ( so far ) because it's the most uncluttered, unrestricted, best policed site thus far.
It could use improvement, and I have some ideas I'd like to see.
I've made advances in that regard, and in simply acquiring the site to the same end, but that isn't making much progress.
There may yet come along an even better site. That remains to be seen, I suppose.

The bulletins and updates tell what your friends are up to. No discussions about raunchy topics. This is the only nudist site that I visit regularly; although I am on the membership rolls of other sites.

After reading through these posts I have come to the conclusion that most everyone feels as I do. It is the people here that make this the best site around. Everyone welcomes you with open arms, 99.9% of us are here for a clean site and its like a smorgusboard of advise for the newbie such as myself. I felt at home here very quickly and it was all due to the people here. People make the group, did I say that already? Let me say it one more time, Great people make this the best site out there.

Not perfect, but improving. There are other threads for suggestions so I won't list any here.
Have to agee with many others - the website is good, but the people are what are making it a real community and therefore a great place to visit. The desire to manage & maintain the vision of TT1, by so many members makes it a wonderful site and will keep it that way.
