  Local availability is a big reason.  Travel time to the closest resort and back would take an entire day.  That leaves no time for socializing and recreation.  Expense is another reason.  Other things often have a priority that is higher.  Privacy is a third.  The lack of privacy fencing is forcing our nude time to be indoors or secluded spots we have found where we are not likely to be caught.  My hot tub is indoors, but always enjoyed while nude.  Then there is the notion that I just like to be nude for the comfort factor, and don't need any more socialization than what I am getting now.

  Start a naked hiking group in your area, it might be one way to meet others.

  I couldn't have said it better myself rabbitnbunny. I've written this before about another topic but can still be applied to this, just because you share Nudism as a common interest does not mean you'll automatically be friends. Personality, likeability, other common interests, age group, availability and location all okay a huge part.

  Because you can't trust people on the net?  If you join a club or go to a beach/resort then you can get to know others in a more open and probably safer situation.

  [/quote] Nudeyooper, We always get our Spider senses tingling, when ever we hear and read the same old thing. The story is always the same, from the same types of people, on this site.  These sad sorts, are always whining about the lack of any Nude venues, that they are able to attend or explore.  These sad sorts, never have anything in their profiles, No Pictures, No Friends, No Groups, No Favourite Vacation spots, and No Information of any interest at all.  They all Whine about having no where to go, or no other Nudists to socialize with, yet they do absolutely Nothing about exploring anything, that is either close to them or doing their own thing.  Being Nude is not a religion people, and being Naked at home is No Big Deal at all, like who really cares that you are Nude at home? LOL  Who really wants to know ,  that you are riding your stationary bike while being Nude, YUK , that is a visual that NONE of us need in to envision in our heads!  So you are telling us, that you are actually Naked in your own "Indoor" Hot Tub, well aren't you daring and living Life on the edge! LOL  Seriously?  Who isn't Naked in their own Hot Tub? LOL  Being a Nudist is no different, than being a Sailor or a Skier or a Bird Watcher or a Fisherman.  In order to enjoy the pleasures and the experiences of Skiing or Sailing or Bird Watching or Fishing, you actually haves to get off your ass, and do something about it!  The fish are not going to come to you, unless you get off your Butt!  The birds are not going to fly into your Livingroom, so you need to get off your couch and go and find them!  You can not ski or sail in your own Livingroom, so you have to actually get off your ass, and head out to the mountains and to the Yacht club in order to pursue these activities.  Being a Nudist is absolutely No Different, from any other hobby, past time, passion or Lifestyle.  We had a quick look, as to where you live and there are LOTS of Nudest Clubs all over your area and region.  You live in the some of the most Beautiful Wilderness, that one could possibly find, yet you play the Woe is Me Card?  There are 3 Nude clubs within 190 miles of you, and another 3 within a 500 mile radius, if you are wanting to drive to them.  No one is suggesting, that you make these a weekend adventure but you could, if you really wanted to, as a 3 hour weekend drive is nothing to do.  There are hundreds of Nude Resorts and Nude Clubs all over the States, and within Driving distance to you, or just jump on a Flight and you have Thousands that you could visit.  When people have a Love and a passion for something, they make the necessary adjustments and sacrifices to explore them and they actually pursue them.  Meeting other people or finding other places to enjoy while being Naked, is pretty frigging easy to do, it just requires a little Effort and getting off your Ass, in order to do it!  Being Nude at Home, does not make someone a Nudist, it makes them a person who is at home, without any clothes on. BIG DEAL!  You are not a Skier or a Sailor if you sit at home, with your Skis on, and Tiler and a bottle of Rum in your hands.  You are not a Fisherman if you sit at home  wearing your Hip Waders and your Rod in your hand, any more than you are a bird watcher with your Binoculars hanging around your neck while in the closet!  You need to actually get off your Butts, and pursue your hobbies or your passions or that certain Lifestyle, that you want to be involved in.  You really need to stop the Lame over used Excuses, and get off your ass, and go to the endless number of Nude Resorts and the Nude Beaches that we ALL enjoy going to!  Sitting at home Naked, does not make anyone a Nudist!  A True Nudist, pursues their passions and their interests by finding all the places, to enjoy that Lifestyle at.  You might want to start off, by actually filing out your own Profile.  Pictures do not have to show ones face, if anyone is worried about their Privacy.  As long as your faceless picture does not show, all of your Banking Information along with your PIN number, you should be OK!
