We've been wondering for some time: What percent of the population are nudists, of various types? For example : How many are full-time nudists? How many regularly visit resorts? How many regularly visit nude beaches? And so on.
IN PARTICULAR -- we'd like to know : What percent of the population are 'home nudists'? (I.e. always nude at home, even if they aren't involved in social nudity.)
The numbers will obviously vary by country. Our main interest is in the American stats, though it would also be interesting to learn about other countries' nude habits.
Does anyone have access to surveys, or are there any informed opinions?

Not in a poll form...but I can tell you my wife and I take in a nude beach at least twice a year. When in our winter home we live next door to a well known nude resort and are members. We are there nearly everyday for the six or seven months we are down there. At home I am in nude a state of dress almost everyday and most of the day. My wife not so much at home.

I tend to agree with the figures mentioned here for the number of nudists in the UK. I also agree with it being very difficult to come up with any accurate figures for reasons already mentioned. We don't currently belong to any nudist clubs or national organisations but have a fairly active nudist social life. We use local nude beaches often and socialise with friends, that we've got to know at the beaches, in our homes throughout the year. A small number of these friends are members of nudist clubs and organisations, most are not. So we, and many of our nudist friends, might not get included in any 'official' survey of nudists.
We know a number of people who are often naked at home and others who only visit nude beaches on holidays, but they don't regard themselves as nudists. Some don't like labels, we don't generally but happily label ourselves as nudists because we love this way of life and actively seek contact with others who share our love of it, we don't feel that you can have too many nudist/naturist/naktivist/naked friends.

noodengr2Oct 12, 2017Not an official survey but I have heard that Dominos Pizza has it's drivers keep track of how many folks take delivery of their pizza in their underwear, whether they are boxers or briefs and how many are totally nude. They supposedly judge the political mood of the country with the data.

PaulOct 14, 2017As others have said how do you come up with a figure as most people you ask will think you mean you are nude as much of the time as you can against just been nude in their garden on a hot day going to a nudist beach while on holiday.
