Carbon Media are making a new series for Sky One exploring contemporary
cultural attitudes to nudity in Britain and are looking to contact
anyone who might be interested in taking part.
The working title for the series is Naked Britain and will be exploring
how comfortable people are being naked - when they're happy
to be naked versus when they are embarrassed or
uncomfortable, and why. Are we really a nation of prudes?
Or are we becoming more like our more relaxed European neighbours?
We hope to include a true cross-section of naturists/nudists in Britain.
And we would love to speak to people in the UK who enjoy going clothes-free -
whether you describe yourself as a Naturist, or just enjoy the
occasional skinny dip.
In particular (but not exclusively) we would love to hear from:
People who have been naturists for over 20 years and who can talk about how
the movement has changed/
18-30 nudists / new Naturists who can talk about the future of Naturism
and whether it's becoming more accepted, more mainstream.
Naturists from minority backgrounds
People who have found ways to incorporate their enjoyment of being naked
into their everyday lives – perhaps they run naturist holidays,
business or they just find time to be naked every day!
People who enjoy occasionally going nude/clothes-free but don't like to
label themselves
Anyone who is thinking about going nude in public for the first time –
perhaps you enjoy being naked at home but haven't done so with
others. Perhaps you're looking to meet like-minded people to try it
with?
Anyone who enjoys going skinny dipping or nude sunbathing on holiday –
perhaps your nudity in public is reserved for when you're abroad?
anyone else who had an interesting story or just something to say
about the subject!
We're also looking to put on a huge event to celebrate the end of the
British summer in a clothes-free way and are looking to get as many
people along to this as possible. The event will be held around early
to mid-October. /
If you're interested in finding out more please email me at paula.wittig(at)carbonhq.com
Full details of the event (date, time, location) will be provided.
All contact will be strictly confidential and will not commit you to
the programme in any way.
Please get in touch as soon as possible as we are on a very tight timeframe
with this!
With best wishes,
Paula
