I’ve been reading different postings here and there and there is a definite feeling among some people that men who violate the photo rules have been dealt with far more severely than women.
Among the most obvious rules, quoted verbatim:
2. Please no erection shots, crotch shots or pornographic photos
3. No Spread Eagle, or shots where the butt, genitals or anus are the main focus point.
5. We are no longer approving pictures that contain only genitals,
6. If you choose not to show your face then you may not show your genitals.
Erections, spread eagle and crotch shots are (usually) easy to identify. So are photos where the genitals or anus are the main focus.
Pornographic shots and pics where the butt is the main focus point are very much “eye-of-the-beholder” cases. We could be flagging at our own peril.
I’m not saying it’s true that men have it harder here than women when it comes to questionable pictures. I’ve seen quite a few women “disappear” after it was pointed out that their pictures were deemed to be against the rules. However, I keep coming across photos of other women which seem questionable to me but might not be to others.
So, what do YOU think? Do women who post questionable pictures have it easier than men?
NOTE: While I hope all will take part in sending in their reactions, I’d especially like to hear what the women think.

This is why I don't flag for pictures, I flag for actions. If a male is holding his erection there is little question of his action and I will flag for the action. A woman who is spread may just be relaxing so I give the benefit of the doubt. But if she is paying too much attention with her finger, there is another flag. If I have any question of whether an offending action is in fact on display I ignore and move on.
So far I have not looked at enough pictures to stumble on a woman that I decided needed to be flagged after the above test. I spend most of my time here reading in the forum.ReactReply - CA

That would cut down on the exhibition picture posters somewhat and make sure mostly true nudist are here and for the long term.

The rules say No spreading of the legs. That sounds easy. But what if a woman innocently posts a picture where her legs are spread but only because she happened to be in a comfortable position with no bad intention, sexual or otherwise? I would tend to let that pass. Not everyone feels comfortable having to keep their legs together, especially those with weight problems, and it's unfortunate that legs spread innocently are lumped in with the rest. However, if she is also using her hands to spread her labia, then it becomes flagrant. And I have seen a few of those. Usually, they're gone in a matter of days, but they do occur. In between the two extremes, there is room for interpretation.ReactReply

Did you flag any of them? Do you know of anyone else who flagged them? If they were flagged and allowed to stay, then we can agree to disagree with the way our webmaster applies the rules.

westheathenJul 10, 2010My verdict on the open legged photos would be that it depends on what is displayed as a result. If for lack of a better word "innards" are displayed then that is over the line. But if not it would be okay in my opinion.

I really think it all depends on the picture on wether it is overly sexual or not, because I for one know most of the time I sunbathe or my wife sunbathes neither of us glue our knees together as to not offend someone by them seeing our genitals. This reminds me of the "so called nudist" who have walked up to my wife years ago and told her it was not natural for her to shave her vagina and display it at a nude beach/resort. Now 90% of the women are shaved and it is just normal now, but 15 yrs ago it was scandalous.
