How can we let any vet go hungry? 27 April - received by e-mail:
Today is Band of Brothers' Day; send this to all your brothers, fathers, sons and fellow veterans you know.Happy Brothers' Day!I LOVE YA BROTHER!!!To the good men that have touched my life. Here's to you!! I was never a hero, but I am thankful I served among them.A real Brother walks with you when the rest of the world walks on you.Send to all your Band of Brothers, because the fake ones won't.
Also - as a tribute to my Brothers - you stood in the gap and can state the following and be proud: I showed up, I stood up, I stepped forward. I raised my right hand, I stood in the gap, I walked in the fire. I did not run, I did not hide, I did not dodge, I did not evade.' Consequently I have nothing to prove, no one to convince,those who matter, already know. Those who don't, never will. -Author UnknownI meet my brothers now out on the civvie street.It is with a big bear hug and a handhake we greet.Those who who dont know us dont know what to say.When they hear us all talk about Brothers day!

As we refresh our memories
Of all the wars gone by,
Let each of us be grateful
For our "Heroes" you and I.
They gave their all that we may live
In a country good and free,
"Lest we forget" They did it all
For the likes of you and me.
Remember the "Heroes"
Who fought our wars
And kept "Old Glory" Flying;
Those who gave their utmost
And saved us all from dying.
