  I agree that hostility to first-time posters is a problem. For each poster, the question raised is real, and new, and deserves real consideration. Yes, people often begin their involvement with the site with a post, before they invest energy in their profile. Yes, people often raise issues that have been discussed before, and that could be researched by other means. So what? That's not a bad thing, just their choice of how to approach the site.
  
  I'm sure it's true, too, that for many users online nudism is wholly or in part a visual experience, for whom a text-only forum holds no interest.

They come in, hoping to find something that this isn't, stir up problems and go. Then, when that troll leaves after his split second attention span evaporates; another troll comes along and quickly fills the spot. That generates the hostility towards newcomers, and the cycle feeds on itself.

  [/quote]Been there, tried it, and it doesn't work. 90% of first posts from new members are from perverts pushing to see how far they can go.                    If that's what you prefer on here instead of genuine people, then good luck, I'll leave  the poor sickos alone from now on and let the site deteriorate into a porn haven.

  The owners of this site seem to be out to lunch when it comes to policing this site. Some members jumped in to volunteer to help fill that gap. It would be great if their efforts weren't needed but unfortunately that is not the case. In the past there have been some real bomb throwers who would blow every topic apart so no one could have a reasonable discussion. The unfortunate result is that the Forums have often been very dull.

  There is no question about pervs and creeps getting inappropriate.  If the forums are this slow and dull then perhaps what has been going on isn't working either.

  the currect censoring by  volunteers is strangling the place slowly.
  
  Mention anything remotely controversial (as in stimulating) and the same few people are down on you like a ton of bricks with their own form of puritanism.
  
  It is actually very off putting. There is no need for it. Foe example If you do not want to discuss erections then go elsewhere, do not come barging in on people who do. It is a real question for many newbies. it is simply rude as hell to interupt a conversation and demand it be done on your terms. I would not tolerate it at a party  so why on here? Butt out
  
  Likewise it seems just odd there is a the same thing happening on sex and sexuality or did quite often. FFS it is about sex  yet had people trying to draw boundaries about what people can talk about.
  
  The result was I get fed up posting because the last thing I need is some self-righteous bore screaming at me online.
  
  This is a great pity because it could be a useful forum for exchanging ideas and nudists vary as much as the genral population, it is not just the preserve of an elect few, who are often well behind the times.

  [/quote]Ok Rockdad, so you agree with the thread titled  'Sex', posted 9 hour ago by Robel, who sayshi my name is robel i went to talk about sex but there is no person to courage this thing that is very shame.Perhaps you should welcome him/her to the site, and have a good sexual conversation, so they know they're on the right site for their needs.

  The thing is when a new member with a blank profile first post is about the "E" word and if that person his/her eyesight they would have seen that the last post on say the men's room was this so they have got the information they wanted and left a reply there as well if they wanted.

  I think most people use this site for chat as there is more than 250 people in chat now and have no idea that most of these forums exist at all.

  This forum ain't what it used to be. There is no great discussions anymore-back in the day we had some good ones, but a few would draw it down to personal insults. Now, I look and see ongoing word game posts that I have no interest in, newbies-well intentioned or not-asking the same old questions and often getting beat up for doing so. I used to start a lot of threads-some about politics or issues of the day, and they pretty much got trashed because people prefer to insult instead of respectfully debate. I don't see any threads worthy of reading anymore-I'm just here out of habit.
