So I have noticed a few profiles I have clicked on I am blocked. Now I have never spoken with, requested friendships, or have looked at their profile before. Yet I click on their profile to find out more about them and it pops up that they have blocked me.
How is this even possible? Is there a setting to always immediately block users based on some info the users have like single male?
What gives?

PeteMay 15, 2018This might be a guess and only a guess. You initially look at their profile and see their information. The in response the individual brings up your profile to check you out also, when they do they find your profile set to private. Not real fair of you to look and then hide from those whom you've looked at. Make sense?

Yes makes total sense but I have never seen them before. I can totally see how if they looked at my profile and blocked me for some reason but I would get a notice that someone looked at my profile and it would have them listed. I generally look at everyone that has looked at my profile. I have yet to block anyone

But, You ARE blocking everyone, because your profile is set to private.[/quote] That was due to a bug with the new board that allowed anyone to view anything. The only way to keep things from being viewed was to set it to private. I believe this has been fixed. Will need to test that out. I dont people looking at my pictures but if it has my face in it, I dont want just anyone looking at it.ReactReply

It would be nice to be able to set parameters like that where you can automaticly block someone that has certain aspects like a private profile or a profile that is blank or a stock TN photo, ect....... and perhaps a response that would say you were block due to ******

BerkyMay 17, 2018I get these a lot. They view my profile and then I go to return the favor and notice the other person's profile is set to Private or I'm blocked. Another one of my pet peeves about this site. At least I'm upfront about not showing a face picture here. When I'm on my tablet I can enlarge my View Me page and I can still see the thumb print picture of the other person without visiting their profile. :)

Me as well and I have never spoken to them. I only knew they blocked me as when I went to say something to them I received a message saying best to refrain from them. Just very strange one guy who blocked me was from England and the other from Florida. So in return I blocked them as well. I figured neither of us had any reason to communicate at all. Life's too short to deal with that nonsense. I won't deal with it in person, why should I deal with it online?

AlMay 18, 2018I found that I was blocked by someone who I had never interacted with too. I discovered it when I read one of their posts and decided to look at their profile. I was puzzled also, since it was a first look by me. But when I saw subsequent posts by that person, I was glad I blocked them back.
I have decided to block people who have private profiles, because I dislike imbalance. I have pics and descriptions available to the members. But people with private profiles are basically here peering out behind the harem screen. They can lurk, who knows what they're up to? This is not the same as not posting pics. I don't block people who don't post pics if they have an interesting profile and make intersting comments, but if there is no profile, what's the point?ReactReply - TO
