  Watched the trailer.  Looks like an interesting show.  I'll try to watch it.  I am also going to try and get my wife to watch it with me as it could provide a good ice breaker for more discussion around nudism.  Wish me luck!!

  Although I have enjoyed WNBR, nude beaches, visiting clubs, indoor nude swims, and being nude most of the time at home, I would most certainly trade my nudity for the right relationship. I have enough other interests for me to trade nude recreation for visiting textile resorts and destinations.
  
  We all value things differently, I would value the importance of a husband over that of being clothesfree.Oh, when  someone uses the term fiance please don't make assumptions about gender.

  I was able to watch all but the first five minutes of the show last night. It didn't seem particularly  exploitive but on the other hand, it didn't seem that particularly interesting either. Watching a real estate broker show houses just wasn't that compelling a watch even if the house buyers were nude.
  
  The funniest scene in my estimation was when the pool cleaner showed up to see the nude couple being shown the house. He  said he would love to them to buy the house so that he could get a good look at the wife every week. The pool cleaner's reaction was not that different then the package delivery driver's.
  
  The real stars of the show? The houses! The houses were resort-like with their enclosed or indoor pools, and backyards with hot tubs, dipping pools, and privacy plantings.

  On the whole, as a nudist, this show was rather boring. Watching people shopping for a home does not make great television. Yes they were nude but nothing was exposed, and this was to be expected. All of the potential buyers seemed to be rather shallow people which didn't help in livening things up.
  
  However the possibility of being able to live this life style in such a community was very intriguing. It opened a whole new world for nudists and non nudists alike. Except for some of the inane comments of the buyers, it depicted nudism in a very good light.
  
  There were many pop-ups explaining proper nudist etiquette and general information for the non nudist viewer. This probably answered a lot of questions the general public has about nudism. I believe that these pop-up comments also showed nudism in a favorable light. Even though there was a pop-up saying that nudists should always sit on a towel, there was a scene of a woman sitting on a piece of exercise equipment without a towel.

  Mea Culpa; it was a man writing this and I foolishly assumed he was marrying a woman. Being straight it never crossed my mind that he may be marrying a man.
  
  My advice still stands. The dating and pre-marriage period of a relationship is a time for finding out if two people's backgrounds, desires and interests are compatible enough to take the next step. Yes love is important for a good marriage but it is entirely possible to truly love a person who you find contemptible and do not really like.

  One thing I thought that the delivery man was a set up is who delivers a package to house that is for sale then just lets anyone sign for it,and it looked like it has been opened.Thought the show was a little funny and may watch it again.Another thing that got my attention was the advice they were giving about nudist,thought that was cool so if people were thinking about becoming a nudist they had some advice on the subject. Now when it comes to meeting a nudist for the first time,hand shake in stead of a hug? The first time I was at a clothing op. resort a lady that I met for the first time came up and gave us all hugs which I didn't mind at all and was the first nude hug from a nude woman I just met that I've ever got.(we were both nude ) a couple first for me that day and I loved it.But I won't offer a hug but will give one back if that's what she wants. Be nude but not rude!

  Yeah, that is a cute trailer.
  But go watch it again and see how many objects were strategically placed to cover the breasts and such. Two martini glasses? LOL.
  I think people may watch, but I am not sure how long this kind of a show would last.
  Then maybe it will spawn off another show and nudism in general will at least be more in the spotlight in a good way and not as a 'secret society of weirdos"...that's another club I belong to, ;)

  I too thought the delivery man and the pool boy were set ups, especially the delivery man. This was obvious from the different takes with various camera angles and the splicing. Many of the srategically placed items were obviously shopped-in in post production.
  
  That being said, the show did show nudism in a good light. I suspect many people will be more willing to give nudism a try after viewing the show.
  
  The next step is a sit-com centered around life in a nudist resort. Sort of like a nude version of Seinfeld.

Sort of like a nude version of Seinfeld.[/quote]Yes they had to place those objects like that for TV and it would be nice to see a Sit-Com like that,I think a lot of people would watch it,but sure some would complain about the nudity like they always do.I think they should be allowed to show nudity (not porn or people making love ) from after 10 pm to 6 am? I think that would be a good time bracket.

You would think they could be somewhat less strict on content, especially after 10p.m. The show was on at 10p.m. EST, but since most of the cable networks provide a single feed to all operators it must have aired at 7p.m. on the west coast.

  So true, I loved it however even thinking I am ready to move and say so long to this cold weather we are having here. It is nice here 3/4 of the time though and I still love the mountains, free hiking and the summer sun here. Also the hot springs are fantastic. Looks like a fantastic lifestyle to me! The nudist popularity here is minimal at best and looks much better in Florida.

  This is not about the show, but when my wife and I last visited Mira Vista we were given a showing of their new condo's that were adjacent to the resort. We were told that they were for sale and that we were welcome to take a look at the model unit, so we set up a time with the agent who was showing the property. When we went on the tour the agent was dressed and my wife and I were nude and this was during the week. So we saw a few of the resident of the condo's on our tour who were all clothed while walking the property, and since they were building new units there were construction workers, delivery guys, and other commercial traffic going on as we walked around as the agent explained the master planned community.

  For those that are not aware.  The next set of 8 episodes of Buying Naked premiers June 28 on TLC.  Hopefully it won't be as corny as last time but I still liked that they showed nudists are generally normal people and there are neighborhoods etc where it is acceptable as it should be.

  Thanks for the head's up FullSun! I also hope it's less corny, especially now that they have 8 episodes to do and they don't have to get so much attention in order to get themselves more episodes.
  
  Ma_jandc, do you watch house hunters? My fiance and I are pretty big HGTV watchers and the houses in the south are WAY cheaper than us up in New England (related: Hi neighbor!). It gets depressing/annoying since we just bought a house last August to see what our money could have gotten us...

  [/quote]Saw the two episodes tonight. A bit corny but nothing bad either.  It is funny how they place objects to hide breast and Genitals.  Did get a kick out of the mixer with the naked and clothed guest.  I don't see the show lasting that long.
