Can we get some LA people together?

It would be cool to get a group of people together in LA to hang out (pool, jacuzzi, spa, beach, hike etc...) Doesn't seem like much goes on here without having to drive to San Diego or Palm Springs. Does anyone have a house or venue that could host an informal get together?
