Was just wondering what people wanted to hear when they post pics. Do you like the generic "Looks very natural"  or "Nice picture" or do you like direct complements like "You look beautiful" or "You've got a great body"?

I believe deep down we all like to be complimented on either how we look, the job we've done, and many other things. I know an occasional pat on the back makes me feel better!

Nothing wrong with a genuine compliment, as long as it's well meaning. There's a difference between telling a woman she's beautiful, and saying "you're hot". The latter implies physical attraction vs. appreciation.
Last week at the gym, I approached a young woman who's a regular. In fact, she's competed in several contests. While her appearance would be considered off-putting by many, her cut and veiny physique is testamount to the work she's put in over the years. I told her she has an incredible body, and she was obviously pleased because I phrased it in the proper context. "Incredible", as in the extremely high level of muscle quality she has attained through years of dedication most of us can only imagine.
Compliments are generally received in the manner they're intended.

I enjoy tasteful compliments.  Things like "nice rack" or "great nips" just leaves me feeling kinda unclean.

There are some images that are striking whether nude or clothed, on several clothed photos I have either commented on the color scheme or the attractiveness the picture in the positive (if you can't say something nice..) OTOH I have seen some comments that border on lurid, or a pic that borders on porn and the comment is "very natural". Can you flag comments?  Wow, not sure if I leapt off the topic, but needed to get that out.  I am reminded of a story...
I just helped a friend move into the home of an elderly couple as he was renting a room there, I was invited to sit and have a cup of coffee.  He is from Estonia and and she Finland.  The gentleman is staring at me as if trying to think of something to say. All of the sudden he blurts out.  "you have nice eyes" Of course I thanked him and returned the compliment.  I just think it's funny out of all the things he could have said...

I love it when people tell me I have nice eyes.

I was having a pretty heated argument once during a disection with another girl and all of a sudden she just blurts out "You know you have the bluest eyes I've ever seen??"

    That was it, argument over.

I don't post photos for compliment.  I post photos to share that part of me with "friends" and appreciate the positive, tasteful compliments.    We all need uplifting, positives in our lives.  Such compliments do help bolster self-esteem and are appreciated.

Generic or direct complements, I like them all!  If someone goes to the trouble of looking at my profile and pictures, I really appreciate it!

I feel it all depends on the comment.  I have had people tell me that I am pretty active for a person my age.  Or you act younger than your age.  I have also had people thank me for my service in the army in the last 3 years.  It is nice but a little to late for me since I got out of nam in 68.  The response in not the same as if it had happened thirty or so years ago.  But that is me and a lot of vets still like the comment.

Ofcourse i like compliments, and dont like when others criticize . But, as for me, the important topic here is whats the purpose of the compliment. --------------------- table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="109" col width="109"/col tr height="21" td class="xl76" style="height: 15.75pt; width: 82pt;" width="109" height="21" font class="font6"/fontfont class="font5"Happy Hour Las Vegas/fontfont class="font7"/font/td /tr /table
