Erection, inappropriate even when involuntary? — General Discussion on True Nudists

I'm new to the nudist lifestyle and I'm trying to learn as much as I can from posts in this site. Although I have browsed around and commented in some topics, there will always be other questions that might not be posted already.

As a licensed massage therapist, I'm aware of the human physiology and how we react to physical, visual and other types of stimulation, which brings me to the question on the title of this post.

Erections are part of us and not necessary can be the result of any sexual activity happening or sexual thoughts. They can happen at any time and can happen for many reasons. In massage, it happens because just as we are working soft tissue, directly and indirectly we are affecting the nervous system as well, which can trigger an erection, once again it doesn't mean there is any sexual activity going on.

So my question is, during a nudist environment, is an involuntary erection inappropriate at all? Is there anything to do or say if it happens?

Your first question appears garbled, but an erection is inappropriate in all situations.
Cover it up.

I personally would cover it, that's for sure but I also understand that it can happen even when a person is not even thinking about it. That's why I was asking.

Awesome, thanks for the replies. Gladly it has never happened to me but there's always the questions "what if" and this forums help with that.

One of the funniest photos I ever saw was of a couple who were posing for a picture and suddenly his willy wanted to be a part of the pic. When she noticed it, she quickly pushed it down with her hand. Just then the picture was snapped. There she was with this elegant pose and smiling to the camera, with her hand trying to press down and cover her husband's woody, which was clearly visible below her fingertips. I saw this pic posted on another nudist website but it was quickly removed because photos of erections were prohibited. Erections happen- its part of life.
