  Is there an actual active group for reporting fake accounts? This is just a thread in the "General Discussion" forum and it's not very active. Yes, I few people participate here, but not very many. I've looked for a active group and could not find any. Hoping someone here might know of such a group.   @teamtrue we should do a certification with passport photos, the only way to get the website clean.

And my guess is that most of the users here are from the US. Requiring passports would likely eliminate more than half of the paid users on this site.

Could be driving licence or ID card. But still a surprising number of fakes getting through who have profile pictures uploaded. Are they not checked by the new certification process? Or is someone turning a blind eye?

[/quote] I don't know about others, but I look and if the fake has already been posted here, I don't repost it ;-) I am sure others do the same, so that affects how many people post here. Let's face it the more you post on this site, the more the fakes are attracted to you. When I have a dry spell with nothing to add to conversations, the fakes don't come my way.

  It is useless to keep posing 'fakes'. The fakes come because there are plenty of men here (and perhaps a few women) who want them. These people are here for anything but nudism. Nothing is going to ever change this. It is just like the so called war on drugs. Cut off the supply without getting rid of the demand and there will just supply from someone else. The demand here for perverted chat and sex chat is just too great. No amount of posting fakes or deleting fakes will ever change this. The fact is that sites like this attract too many perverts and far too few real nudists.

  No one is winning anything here. People are posting to an empty room. The only reason to do so is to 'feel good'. Fakes are here for a reason. Too many perverts want them here and so they keep coming. Nothing is going to change this and the site does not have the resources to keep getting rid of perverts and fakes. It is what it is and will always be what it is. No mod or anyone else is authority has ever mentioned that they come to this topic and use the posts here to remove fakes. Flagging a fake is the site approved way of identifying fakes. Anything else is beyond the scope of this site.

  This is just another example of how effective this Flag a Fake thread actually is. I was just asked for airfare money from some woman who claims she is 'short of money'. This woman did not mention her name - not that it matters cause the name is probably a fake too. She just right away asks for money. Can't even be bothered to come up with a semi-convincing story. Shows how lazy the scammers are now. She just joined and already has male 'friends'. The story here is obviously that there are many desperate and lonely guys with money here who will fall for these scams and send money to strangers and not even care that they are scammed. Why not send money to the ASPCA where it will do some good instead of throwing money away at scammers. The scammers keep coming because the pickings here are good and easy. The word gets out. Just give some sob story and the checks are in the mail. What an easy way to make money. Fools!

We post them here so that other members can block and report fake profiles.
