We're thinking of taking a day trip to Hackettstown to see what it's like.

Has anyone from the area ever been there?

    I've been there. It's rustic, quiet place. Nice large pool.

    thanks for your response.  Do they restrict you to the pool area (some places do) or can you walk trails and picnic on your own?
