For the past two weeks I have been traveling in Ecuador with a small group. Our guide Maria is Ecuadorian and grew up in Quito. She has led tours for years, some well into the Amazon jungle. She told of a time doing a home stay with the Amazon natives a village elder came up to her in his traditional outfit. A piece of string tied around his waist and the tip of his penis. They do that to keep the penis from flapping around. She said " I had no idea where to look" The natives we encountered in our home stay dressed western.

Strandjunge59Jan 28, 2022This shows how the natives loose their innocence. Today most natives are clothed because they think they are civilized if they do it. Only some elders go in the traditional way. After a few years they would not be used to see nudity and would be shocked like the guide.
