Has anyone ever commented on your lack of tan lines?

I went to an 80's retro party a couple of years ago. I found an old pair of short tennis shorts that still fit (thank you elastic waist). When I arrived at the party a lady commented that I had no tan lines on my legs. I didn't tell her that I had no tan lines anywhere. Another time we went to the beach with a group of folks and I over heard one lady exclaim as I sat down and the leg of my trunks rode up that she saw no tan lines. I hate tan lines!

At the gym that I go to, I am nude in the locker room as much as possible and they have a communal shower. Some have noticed that I have no tan lines and a few have asked about it. I just tell them that I am a nudist, I have nothing to hide. A couple of times I have been asked about being a nudist. When they have any questions, I am happy to answer them.

The gym could be a great recruitment location. Put an ad for a nudist club in the locker room.
    Who knows!
    Stay naked!

The gym I belong to has tanning beds so it is not unusual for guys to not have tan lines.

Had people notice many times and usually just say I tan without clothes.  Why try to explain being a nudist unless the conversation goes further.  Some just ask "Isn't that illegal" and I reply not unless you are viewable to the public.  Most people don't have a clue about nudity laws.Great conversation starter

Any comments from people regarding my tan, I always make a point of telling them it's an all over tan, because I like to do things properly.  You don't eat a banana without peeling it, so why tan without removing your clothing.

Outside of other nudists,  nobody can tell if I have tan lines or not except my doctors and their staff.  In which case the conversation is about making sure to use plenty of sunscreen.

The last time I went to the doctor for my annual physical, while giving the good old bend over test, he asked me if I always used sunscreen. I thought it was a strange question at that time, especially since it was January and my tan had faded. Maybe he noticed the freckles on my butt.

Yes, at my gym I walk naked to the sauna and showers, most other men wrap up in a towel.several times somebody has commented on my allover tan and asked what tanning salon I go to. I said none, I sunbathe naked and go skinny-dipping a lot.One guy asked me where and I told him, later in the summer he was up there with his wife that my wife knew, we all had a good time

wife and I were visiting friends in OR.my friends wife asked mine to go the the gym for aqua-aerobics,my wife agreed, as they were changing she asked commented on my wife's tan and noticed no tanlines. my wife said she tans naked all the time and we go to the river or a lake to tan and skinny-dip.she said we were nudists and hardly wear any clothes around the house. after aerobics they went to the sauna naked along with some of the class. my friends wife suggested that we all go to the nude beach the next day, which we did and had a great time. we have done that several times over the past 2 years.

At work a few female co-workers were talking about wearing smaller bikins so thier tan lines wouldnt be so noticable in some dress's. I piped up and asked about tanlines justbto keep the conversation going. Being the only male in the group at that time they all chuckled and said, "well we cant show you ours right now". I said , " Ican show you mine ", and pulled off my wedding band. One of the gals said," We mean real tanlines". I told them it was my real tanline. Later on one of the lady's who had been kind of quiet told me she didn't have any tanlines either but was not going to devulge to the others she tanned nude. I told her the wife and I go nude on our boat and tan nude on our back deck any time we can. She said "Really I cant believe your a nudist". I told her yep, tanned all over. She asked if I dared prove it since no one else was there. So I did, she then showed me her none existance of tan lines. We've been good friends since and her and hubby join us on the boat many times to sun.

After years of wearing underwear or a swim brief which cautiously pulled down or out to check I asked him if he was comfortable with nude patients. He said he preferred it because it allowed for a more complete an efficient examiniation. I've been nude for the exams ever since.

Not exactly tan lines, but one time in the summer of 2020, my Bengali friend commented that my face and arms were darker than his, which he rarely sees on his friends of European descent. I didn't tell him that the color was completely even to my waist and the line there was relatively faint!

I had a heart cath done this past May. I had spent quite a bit of time in my backyard by then getting head to toe sun. Several of the nurses commented on my lack of tan lines during the procedure prep. I just said " private backyard"
When it came time to discharge me the next day, the nurse gave me instructions to keep the puncture area dry. They had poked 2 - 1/4" diameter holes in my right groin area. I could shower but dry off quickly and no tight underwear. I told her that I have not worn any undies for decades and generally went nude around home. She gave me
a thumbs up and said " ventilation is your friend"

My dermatologist does an overall body check and it's obvious I have an overall tan. He always tells me to make sure I use sunscreen everywhere.

I guess the most people who see me naked without tan lines just can imagine the reason and need no explanation. So I get comments not so often. Recently I jumped in for a conference week and went to the hotel sauna each evening, but only once a couple that came into the shower section said something like wow, stripeless tan.

The only question I have is this - 'a couple coming in to the shower section' makes it sound as though the area is not gender specific. Are most showers in hotel common areas in Germany shared between sexes? That's a nice thing to learn about, if true.
Are most showers in hotel common areas in Germany shared between sexes?
Although that comment was not mine, I can respond. The short answer, in most cases, is "yes". My first social nudism experience was in a German sauna at a hotel where I often stayed while there on business. Typically American, I wore a swim suit in the sauna and was alone until 3 younger women entered without suits. I left the sauna to go to the shower where I saw a couple (naked) showering and preparing for the sauna. At that point, I took off the suit, showered, relaxed in a lounge chair until ready for the next sauna cycle, then joined those who had arrived in the meantime. My social nudity experiences have only expanded from that first experience to the point where I will pass on swimming or sauna if a suit is required, enjoy hot tubs and hot springs (hence the name) exclusively without clothjing, and freehike whenever possible.
In Germany, all saunas (with a few exceptions such as Frauenzeit or Frauentag, which usually occur once a week) are always for both sexes and completely naked. Clothes are so unhygienic. And in every sauna there are of course showers that you can use after sweating so that you are free from sweat and e.g. B. the plunge pool or whirlpool is not contaminated.
IAre most showers in hotel common areas in Germany shared between sexes? That's a nice thing to learn about, if true.
I did talk about the shower room of the hotel sauna division, and yes, it's all coed there. Sometimes public saunas (not this one) have special females only time slots, but usually saunas here are mixed, and so are the showers, relax rooms etc. I didn't talk about the showers for the hotel guests for their daily hygiene care. Here, it's almost the norm that each room has an own bathroom including a shower. So you don't have to worry that you need to shower together with 20 other hotel guests in the morning...

A friend of mine who was a neighbor said that a visiting executive from Germany went there and got in the coed jacuzzi nude, to the discomfort of female patrons.
