I am staying a couple of days in Toronto with a guy I met as a random roomie while we toured Sri Lanka in 2018. He has a renter in his upstairs who shares the common entryway . My host told the guy " if you see a naked guy around, that is my friend and it is ok". My hosts knows me pretty well after being my roomie for 9 days
