At this point ( post 50 yrs) there are very few people in my life that I don't at least joke about going to a nude beach, I may not share how dedicated of a nudist I am at home, but I do not hide my nude lifestyle.
Others?
You want me to publish the name of the person I want to tell I am a nudist and the reason I haven't? ????????ReactReply - MEMemberAug 26, 2015
Id like to be open with it with our sons who are all adults. We arent so sure they would understand or accept it. If our sons were aware.... I wouldnt concern myself on who else knew.

DesertRatAug 27, 2015Words matter and when someone asks "Who is it?" they want a name. It's possible to dance around the question by saying "A friend." or "My cousin." but that does not answer the initial question. Just try doing that in a court of law. No lawyer would ever accept that.ReactReply - NO

thanks to those who got the intent of the original question.ReactReply - T=

Mike TaylorAug 27, 2015I like the OP's question. It might give some a reason to rethink why they hide who and what they are.
I asked the question to get some discussion going on how others tell or not tell their non nudist friends. It is something we alldeal with to some degree and I thought that sharing ideas and concerns we could help each other out.If someone brings up a concern maybe someone else has dealt with that and could give some guidance
If you do not want to share , no one is putting a gun to your head and making you tell us names.ReactReply - KE

nudefishAug 31, 2015My wife and I are very good friends with another couple. The wife of the other couple often talks about skinny dipping. I tell her she can skinny dip in our pool any time, but she hasn't taken me up on it yet. We once stayed in a vacation home with a pool and she said she went skinny dipping while my wife and I were out. She and I went for a walk along a deserted beach once and came across a guy and two ladies who were sunning in the nude. I wanted to tell her that I have been to nude beaches, but for some reason was afraid to although I think they all suspect that I often lay out in the nude.

Ross AngusOct 12, 2015I don't try and hide the fact that I go to nudist beaches - it just don't usually come up in conversation. However, I do have reactions from some of my golf mates over the recent years.
One asked last year, where I went on holiday - and when I replied, he said that he knew of the place as he had been there too, years before! He askes if it was still nudist which I happily confirmed! He was Ok with it!
Another asked me (a coupel of years ago) about the beach we went to and I said it was nudist, giving the reason that it was the best beach around and it wasn't overly busy. He said "Absolutely! - Sound good!" He too was OK with it.
Earier this year, I sent a text message to him saying that I was back at the beach and that the temperature was in the mid 30's C (at home the temp had barely reached 13deg C so it was to make him jealous!) and he replied that the cold summer had finally warmed up a bit to around 20deg C and he was "breaking out his Bermudas" To which I replied, that I didn't even need that much.
He showed this text to another mate who asked me after we got back what did I mean by that text. I replied that it was because we were on a nudist beach at the time to which he replied, "Wow! Gulp!". He asked if that was where we normally went in Greece, to which I replied "Yes" followed by another "Gulp" from him! So it is probably a thing he wouldn't do but we're still friends!ReactReply - JS
Yes, there are, and the reasons why I have not vary with the individual and circumstance. Sometimes, it's just not worth the hassle; some things are more trouble than their worth. It kinda' gets back to the ol' choose your battles adage.ReactReply
