  Hi Everyone, This is Mary Clare. I am reminding everyone that this is the last week for everyone to enter the contest to win two free nights at my resort, The Terra Cotta Inn, Palm Springs, CA.   Hi Phil, I am not rubbing it in about our temperatures. I am just always surprised that so many people around the world think Florida is the warm spot of the US in the wintertime, where actually it is Palm Springs, CA. As an example Weather.com shows Palm Springs will be a high of 81F tomorrow and Tampa where the Super Bowl will be held is only 62F. In January, Palm Springs had 10 days at 80F or warmer and Tampa only had 2 days over 80F. Florida has a much bigger tourism advertising budget. According to the US National Weather Service, they are the rainiest state in the US. They came up with the "Sunshine State" marketing/advertising slogan to try to convince people to vacation there. We don't have that type of advertising budget, so we just have to go with facts that we are the sunniest city in the US and the best city for nudists to vacation in. We average less than 3 inches of rain a year (7.5cm for the Europeans). So with all the airfare sales going on, Palm Springs is a great vacation destination for nudists around the world to come to.
