I am considering living in a nudist community for a few

months.

I am recovering from health problems, and would like a stress free

place to live for a few months.  I

have some exposure to nudism, and would be happy to live by the clothing-free

customs of a nudist community, but don’t feel especially drawn to the

lifestyle.

I’d want to find a place that is cheap, laid back, has a

pool (for rehab activity), and is in a climate that I won’t have to fight

against.

I figure I'll live in a small trailer with a telephone, bed, refrigerator, writing desk, and a computer.

Frankly, a nudist community is the only place I can think of

where I can “get my head together” and heal.

I have considered living in a hippie community, but think the choice

would be a poor one for two reasons:

1.  first, I can’t

work due to being injured, and can’t contribute to a communal society.

2.  second, I really

don’t want to find myself surrounded by emotionally toxic people,

which I’ve

encountered in the commune environment.

If anyone does have any hippie commune suggestions, I would entertain them, though.

I was looking at a community called willimettes (or

something similar) near Eugene, Or.  Any

thoughts on this?  Does my plan,

overall, sound reasonable?  Does anyone

have any other suggestions as to where I might want to go instead?  I’ve considered a Buddhist monestary, but

don’t feel it would provide enough social stimulation, and would be

inconsistent with recovery from injury, though I might be wrong.

I simply don't see the type of communities that nudists and hippies have built among other segments of the population.

Thanks.
