Longest time spent nude — General Discussion on True Nudists

What is the longest time you have spent nude in a continuous period? Putting on shorts, shirt, robe etc., stops the clock for this. So from the time you first got nude until you put something on. Footwear won't count for this, as well as a hat if you need one. For me it has been 217 hours straight, that's a little over 9 days. I got nude at 10:45 on a Friday morning and didn't put anything on until 1:45 PM the following Sunday, more than a week later. I did wear a cap sometimes when out in the sun to shade my eyes, and flip flops when walking over gravel surfaces. Other than that all I may have had on was some sun tan oil. So what is YOUR personal best longest time nude?

Our newspaper is delivered by mail, and I would have only added two hours to the total anyway. Wanted to get caught up before leaving town and coming back to two more editions to go through.

We were at Cypress Cove for two weeks. During that time, we spent two four day periods nude. We took a couple of day trips and went out of the resort a couple of evenings.

Mine was also at the cove. Labor day weekend last year, I went offsite to bowl in the nude tournament in Kissimmee that weekend. I spent 61 hours nude at the resort. Drove 20 minutes rested to the venue. Bowled for 3 hours, dressed and then spent the next 30 hours nude before I dressed for travel home. A wonderful weekend. Looking forward to repeating it again!

I love long nude spells like that, even better when you're among other nudists. A big advantage we nudists have when we go away for breaks is that we can travel light.

I'm going away today until Monday to an event at a nudist club. With the weather forecast expecting it to be hot and dry, though windy at times I hope to be nude throughout that time, 24/7 as the evening temperatures are expected to suit nudity too. I will take a change of clothing for the return journey and something to wrap up in just in case it is cooler. The venue expects full nudity unless its cool, its not as clothing-optional as some other venues, I prefer it when everyone is naked so that's fine by me. They do make exceptions for newbies to acclimatise a bit slower to being nude full time there and for other personal reasons. The friends we're meeting there are taking similarly small amounts of clothing. We are taking the view that we're paying entry to be nude so why wear clothing?
For other nudist trips the amount of clothing taken may increase according to the weather predictions. We tend to consider ourselves as nudists rather than 'clothing-optionalists' so we want to be naked as much as possible when visiting this type of place. Some locations require people to wear something at certain evening events - eating in restaurants for example. If possible we find nude-friendly alternatives.

If not too long, would it be possible to wear the same clothes on the way home and not take any others with you?

Not a resort, but at Gunnison beach, most people are fully nude, even though it is clothing optional.
Most of those who are not nude are either with someone who is or not sufficiently dressed for most if not all other beaches in NJ (topless women, g strings on either gender, etc.).

It takes up to 2 hours to get there, so we could wear the same clothing for the return I guess.

A belated thanks, Andy. It turned out to be the hottest weekend of the year so far, so it was virtually 100% nudity during the daytime and many did the same as us and remained nude throughout our visit.
I probably don't visit as many nudist clubs as you do but I have also noticed what seems to be an increase in the number of both residents and visitors wearing something at them. Maybe not for all of the time, but I do get the sense that we're at clothing-optional venues rather than nudist ones, despite how they choose to describe themselves. I'm not advocating that 'nudists' should be nude 24/7 irrespective of the weather. Nor does it bother me that I'm nude when others are not, I've been visiting clothing-optional beaches for +40 years so I'm very used to being naked while others there are not. Not every nudist is as comfortable with the latter situation though and many choose to visit nudist clubs because they feel that they will be with nudists, yet it can seem that there are quite a lot of non-naked people at them too. I'm with you in preferring nudity to be mandatory when we're at nudist venues though. It is a unique experience when we're all nude in an environment reserved for nudists, a wonderful experience.

As of today, I have nothing planned for August 30 & 31. If it stays that way, I should be able to stay nude from sometime Thursday evening until I get ready for church on Sunday. While 60 some hours may not be a lot to some of you, it would be the longest time yet for me by far.

During that time we ate in restaurants most evenings and did all our shopping totally naked.

Currently at 45 hours and continuing, past my prior longest of 40.5. Should not have a problem reaching the low 60s.

Being first time empty nesters I have been able to be nude almost all the time unless now I have to walk the dogs or go our somewhere but my son and his girlfriend are home for the labor day weekend so haven't been naked except to sleep. Well I'm naked now in my office while they are still asleep. But thats okay. I'd rather have them around for a little while.

Just hit 63 hours and dressing soon for church.
Don't expect a significantly longer time in the immediate future because/
1. 2 days is enough time being limited to the house and back yard.
2. My wife would not be comfortable at a clothing optional resort.
3. While I enjoy being nude, it is not important enough for me to spend several days away from my wife.

the longest i have been continuously nude was a week, I was unemployed at the time and had a well stocked kitchen so why leave my apartment.

same here we spent Friday till tomorrow (Tuesday} at Wildwood resort in Texas so much fun but back to the real world tomorrow ugg!!!
