For two weeks, I stayed with a close friend who resides year-round in a nudist resort. I had visited this unique haven numerous times before, each occasion filled with a sense of liberation and tranquility. In my previous visits, eager to be a considerate guest, I often volunteered to venture out for supplies and other necessities, finding myself slipping back into clothes for these small errands. However, during this particular stay, my friend generously offered to handle all the errands himself, allowing me the rare luxury of remaining undressed throughout my visit. What an incredibly thoughtful friend! The experience was simply exhilarating, a marvelous testament to the freedom and ease of life in such a welcoming community.
It was also the first time I experienced the bizarre sensation of my skin crawling as I put on clothes to leave. The feeling persisted for several hours, an odd and unsettling experience that left me uneasy. It was as if my skin was hypersensitive, each fiber of the fabric brushing against me like a thousand tiny legs scuttling across my body. The sensation was peculiar, almost as if I were enveloped in an invisible cocoon, hovering weightlessly within my garments, disconnected from the world around me.
Is there ever a moment when being unclothed feels long enough?

Tom DMay 22, 2025
Is there ever a moment when being unclothed feels long enough?
Probably not. I ended my 2 longest times continuously nude when I was getting ready to go somewhere that I really wanted to do. That made getting dressed a little more tolerable.ReactReply - DUDukeBareMay 26, 2025
About 3 weeks, maybe more. I'm retired and I live completely nude 24/7 when it's warm enough in NE PA. I only put on cloths when I absolutely have to go out in public.
During Covid, the churches were closed I started "going to" Sunday Services on TV and internet broadcasts. Since I did that at home, I didn't even have to dress once a week for that. So, the only reason that I had to go into public was for groceries. We stocked up so that I didn't have to do that frequently.
My home is on a VERY private property in the country. You can't even see my house from the road. So, I am able to do outside work nude with no issues.
One day I was getting dressed to go out for groceries and I realized that it had been about 3 weeks since I'd even touched a single stitch of clothing.
After that amount of time cloths feel strange. It makes you realize how unnatural clothing is.ReactReply - NA

I stopped keeping track because I basically live 24/7/365, except to go to the dump 2 times a month at about 20 minutes each time, it's 4 mile round trip, and to go to the post office when a package arrives which is 2 miles each way , time is dependant on how many people are there. All our groceries are delivered, and I even get our once in a while coffees in the nude in the drive through. Literally everyone that comes over now knows I will be nude, this is how I live my life now and everyone is fine with it. So no point of keeping track

StevieLornaFeb 4, 2026
To be fair, summer break implies someone who is still a student. So if that student didn't have a summer job, maybe they might not need to get dressed all summer.
To be fair, I have no idea what this person is or does to be able to spend that much time nude. I said its a nice thought but tough to achieve, and I can back that up with personal experience. We have friends who live in Charco Del Palo, an actual nudist village, for three months at a time. Even there they cant spend the entire time nude, first of all the weather does not always allow this, and they still have to engage with non nudist at some points in those three months. Technically it could be possibly for one of them to do a three month stretch, but its not very probable or practical.ReactReply - CA
CarlaFeb 18, 2026For me, the longest stretch was during a camping holiday that still makes me smile just thinking about it. I slipped out of my clothes on a Friday and didnt feel the need to put anything back on until the Sunday of the following week nine delicious days in total.
Just nature, sun on my skin from morning to evening, warm air, cool nights, and that wonderful sense of freedom that slowly seeps into your body until being nude feels like the only natural state. As normal, I made a few practical concessions: sandals for rough ground, maybe a hat when the sun got a bit too persuasive and plenty of sunscreen applied with care and intention.
After a few days, time almost stopped counting. Clothes felt like a distant memory, and honestly, I had no desire to end the clock anytime soon. Some experiences are meant to be savored slowly and naked, of course.

I have yet to exceed that time though. But I would like to TRY again for a longer period, maybe 3 weeks straight would be a good start.ReactReply - SH

I don't even keep track anymore, I'm so used to being nude so much I don't think about. I have actually left to go somewhere and had to turn around and get some clothes.
