Longest time spent nude — General Discussion on True Nudists

What is the longest time you have spent nude in a continuous period? Putting on shorts, shirt, robe etc., stops the clock for this. So from the time you first got nude until you put something on. Footwear won't count for this, as well as a hat if you need one. For me it has been 217 hours straight, that's a little over 9 days. I got nude at 10:45 on a Friday morning and didn't put anything on until 1:45 PM the following Sunday, more than a week later. I did wear a cap sometimes when out in the sun to shade my eyes, and flip flops when walking over gravel surfaces. Other than that all I may have had on was some sun tan oil. So what is YOUR personal best longest time nude?

Is anybody planning on having an extended nude period during this upcoming holiday week end? I am planning one, but it will not exceed the time I have already described in this thread. I AM planning on taking my G/F with me, and it will be her first time in a nudist environment, so I hope she will enjoy it, but she seems a little apprehensive, although willing to give it a try.

We even go out on the front porch in the afternoon to sit for awhile and talk over a few drinks. Sometimes in the mornings, she will go out there and have a coffee and cigarette, nude.

I'm fairly new to nudism (practiced only at home, alone), so the longest I had gone naked the first year was about a day or so.
I had scheduled some time off work for a medical procedure and recovery, but I was forced to postpone it. I kept the days off and used it as a "staycation", so I was able to remain nude for 5 whole days. (It would have been six, but I absolutelyhadto take the trash out, andI don't live in a place where that could be done privately or without consequence.)
Being the first time I was naked for that long felt strange after day 2, but I think I crossed a threshold during that time. Prior to that, I wasn't always naked at home, but after that week, I've made getting undressed as soon as I get home a daily practice.

We arrived at the nudist resort on Saturday morning and did not get dressed until Monday afternoon.

That's pretty awesome - I managed a full day and two nights, sleeping nude in a tent, the second day - on what I thought was a secluded stretch of river (in Africa) some local women came down to wash their clothes. I failed to find a hidden route back to camp and I don't think the folk knew what to make of the foreign apparition, red from sunburn, hopping about on the slippery rocks, there was a chorus of AAHs followed by shrieking laughter, I guess at least they were not offended. I still don't know if the laughter was at my antics or if the local lads are loaded but I salute your achievement.

Late last September I went to Emerald Lake Resort and stayed nude from Thursday 11 a.m. to Friday 1 p.m. Due to end of summer they had already closed the taco diner on site so had to go a closeby buffet for 30 minutes at the most. I even ran for an hour naked, wearing only running shoes and socks. On my next visit to Houston will try and beat that outdoors PB! LOL!
As far as indoors, I have gone completely nude several times from Friday 3 p.m. till Monday 7 a.m. That's 64 hours, possible when we have no visits or don't go out to eat or to the movies or so, which is not very often though.

I had a VERY similar experience myself, now that you mention it. That was also the first time several people I did not know saw me nude, too.

Always thought of this thread as kinda stupid. Didnt know being a nudist was a competition. Or doyou had to be nude a certain length of time to be considered a nudist?

I never intended it to be any kind of competition, just a statement of how long someone has managed to go nude for an extended period. Most all of us on here like to be naked, as much as conditions permit. I was just interested in finding out how much time each of us has had to be able to devote to living nude. We can't go nude for months on end, like we would like to, given the chance, but everyone here has some certain amount of time they have been able to live totally nude without the constraints society places on us, like wearing clothes.

The best I have ever managed is while my two housemates were out of state for a trip(they are dating, so I stay out of their way).As soon as I got the word that they had arrived safely, I had an early lunch, waited until the stroke of noon, tore my clothes off, locked them away, and stayed naked for a record 100 hours, which comes to a bit over 4 days. While alone in my house, I barely slept, actually getting out in the wee hours to walk a few blocks(no matter if it was cold, windy or pouring!), after which I rewarded myself by lounging in the soft grass of my back lawn.Now, my resolve never wavered, but my enthusiasm was kept high by chatting with every nudist mate I could catch online: Here, on True Swingers, and while Skypechatting. What I often find incredible is that I rarely feel the need to eat anything when I am naked, but I do drink liter after liter of water, which helps me to stay awake and functional. I only wish I had a way to measure how many pounds I lost in that time. No idea why I seem to shed my appetite when I shed my clothes, but it certainly does not bother me.The more time I SPEND NAKED, the better I will LOOK NAKED! If I ever get the opportunity, I will live in the nude for an entire week to top my personal best.

[/quote]Ok. I guess I can understand what your saying. I suppose some people who have the benefit of living in a nude community or free of neighbors have it better than others. Yet surprisingly, I bet many opportunities are past up by some who dont allow themselves to let go

Please share what your best time record is on being nude consecutively, if you don't mind.

Being nude isnt really much of a problem for me. I have multiple acres at my home up north. Our son lives with us there. He is not a nudist. When he leaves for work its off with clothes for a good 12 hours around the property. He goes on vacations, iI dont dress thetime he is gone. As long as two weeks at times. Our home down south is next to a nude resort. Many in our community are members there so nudity isnt too shocking around here. We have been here a month now. I have had to dress maybe four times to go out the gates. If i have to pass through an area in my yard so others dont see I wrap a towel around me. When we go over to the resort next door I ride the golf cart down the sidewalk with the canopy down and a towel on my lap for the quick maybe two minute ride. Yes, im fortunate over others to be able to do this. I guess Ive got the next best thing to actually living in a nude resort.

I once house sat for a university professor on summer while he was on a dig in Israel. The House was atop of small mountain or very tall hill surrounded by trees. The only time I dressed was to go into town for groceries or meet with friends.

When I go to a resort for an extended stay and want to stay nude for the duration, I go in my truck, so there is plenty of room to bring all my provisions. That way I don't have to interrupt my nude time by getting dressed to go get more. I always run out of time to be there before I run out of food and beverages.
