So, is anyone else watching the Stanley Cup playoff season ?
Any thoughts on who will come out on top?

Really haven't watched a whole season since Gump the great Montreal golie and Edddy Shack the scrapper and non of them had a clue what nasty surprises lurked in their pension plan.

    This is about the only time of the year I pay much attention to hockey.  The season is so long and they let so many teams into the playoffs it seems kind of a waste to engage in the regular season.  Having lived in CA for the majority of my life, I'd have to say I will be cheering for the Sharks 1st !  Then if they lose to the Kings, I will follow either them or the Ducks.

    The Leaf's are strategically conserving themselves so they can be ready for the fall exhibition season.

    I don't understand a lot about ice hockey except they seem to do a lot of fighting along with the skating. I've often thought that those referees have to be either the bravest guys in sports or the dumbest. Anyone who would jump on a couple of brawling gorillas to stop a fight would seem to have questionable intelligence. Personally, I'd let those idiots duke it out until one or both of them dropped from exhaustion. Actually, I believe a lot of people watch these games just to see the fights. Give the fans what they want and let the fights continue.

    Although we'll be rooting for our LA Kings, I think the Sharks are playing a little better than them right now, especially since we've lost Kopitar for the rest of the season. Go Kings!

    Canucks up by 2 so far, I predict Vancouver win in 5. There, I'm out on the limb now!
