Naked and afraid tv show

  This subject was hashed out in the Forums under the title "Discovery Channel naked shows". The main motive for the shows is the almighty dollar but these people do go through a rigorous 21 days and as we've seen, not everyone makes it. Nudity just adds to the misery with sun burn, bug bites and cold. Not having foot protection is probably the worst hardship and I'm surprised that the contestants don't address that as their first order of business. Viewers who tune in expecting to see a lot of sex are disappointed because basic survival far out weighs any thoughts of that.

  I saw this last time I was home. Must admit it was interesting to be sitting there nude watching two people on TV with my wife and being so caught up in the survival that I was mad at how stupid thier decisions seemed to me. Funny how many times the big tough guy was the first to crumble.   I agree my first order would be something for my feet then fire then shelter. My wife kept telling me I should be on the show. I thought it was well shot and any exposure or coverage of nudity not being sex is GREAT in my book. We must never miss a chance to show that nude is just not wearing clothes and does not equal sex or perversion. I thing the show does a good job of that and it helps to mainstream the mindset of nude recreation,  even if extreme (recreation that is).
