In case you have not heard we have a solar eclipse of a lifetime that is going to make a wide swath of darkness across the USA and Mexico on Monday April 8th . Who has plans to view it naked? During the one 7 years ago I invited myself to a buddy's home in TN and watched it clothed but did slip away from the crowd and have my buddy take my pic of me nude . Anyone hosting a nude party to see it?

Funny story, during the last eclipse in October, I was actually running a nude 5k.

J.Mar 19, 2024We traveled to St. Louis for the 2017 eclipse. I wanted to go to Forty Acre Club and hang out in the pool for the eclipse, but we ended up going to a park in the path of totality to watch it. I had planned to do something similar for this one at a nudist resort in northern Vermont but (1) April is still too cold (for me) to be nude outside that far north in Vermont, and (2) the resort closed last year. We will probably either stay home or at Solair for the eclipse. We can be nude, but are only going to get 93% coverage in the eclipse. You really have to see the total eclipse to get the full effect, but since we just did see one in 2017, we will probably not try to go someplace in the path of totality this time.

I'm in Georgia and I just had the sudden thought that I oughta do something nudist-related for the eclipse. Strangely, none of the resorts near me have any events listed for it.

Well that would be a consideration, lol. I haven't been following the news of the eclipse much. I know it's going to be seen in the early afternoon in Georgia, but if it's not going to be as big as a spectacle as the last one that was centered around Kentucky (where the Hopskinville Goblin incident happened!) then I guess I wouldn't be looking forward to experiencing much.

Most probably will be nude for the event just because thats how my afternoons have been. Were supposed to have about 75% coverage here so probably just a darkened day for us. The last one that occurred was on an almost total overcast afternoon so there wasnt much to it. It got dark (obviously), the street lights came on for a bit and then the sun came back out and life continued on. Its still a neat deal though.

I'll be on the front porch with the wife. I had planned to go to a local park to view the event but people are coming from all over to watch. Traffic is going to be awful.

ScottApr 6, 2024I will probably just end up on my front porch as the weather is not completely promising. I may try to get atleast a partial nude picture taken depending on traffic. It would be a great shot to have but will be tricky. Hopefully we will see some great post of more than one moon crossing the sun in the following days.

I'm no where near the path of the eclipse this time, but in 2017 totality hit in Idaho, and we managed a spot out away from others where I could enjoy it naked.

Well I just found out today that the eclipse is Monday, not Sunday. No wonder no resorts are doing anything. I feel stupid, lol. I'm glad I didn't call any place.

You sound close enough that it would be worth the effort to get under the path of totality. In 2017 we were in St. Louis which was just out of totality and it was worth the 30 minute drive south to see the total eclipse at a park. This year we are in the 93% band and it would be a 2-3 hour drive into northern NH or ME to get to the total eclipse, so we will just stay in the Boston area and view the partial eclipse. Work is having a viewing party so we will go to that. It might hit 60F (and drop from there as the eclipse arrives) which still isnt great to be nude anyway.ReactReply

Upper 50's is warm enough for me with bright sun and little wind. My privacy fence blocks the wind in addition to a view from the neighbor's yard, so it gives me more opportunity to be nude outdoors.ReactReply

SunnobeachApr 7, 2024I missed being in the path of totality for the 2017 eclipse for work related obligations. However, I knew then of this upcoming solar event, and vowed to see it in the path of totality. In fact my hometown is right on that line, and have family who could host (although not comfortably being nude in the northeast). When making our plans, we decided instead to visit friends in TX to see the spectacle (as TX is much more likely to see sun in April than is Western NY). Friends weve met at one of our favorite clothing optional resorts in the Caribbean. That would make a likely nude viewing much more the pleasure. However after 7 years of anticipation and of learning solar eclipse photography techniques my plans have been crashed by a Good Friday heart attack, which now has me restricted from travel. I will be able to observe the partial, and in the buff, but will miss the real deal. I guess knowing that my anticipated TX viewing would be obscured by a cloudy forecast is some consolation, but I wouldnt want to deny the awesome event to others. The weather may do that. Well, I do have 2045 to look forward to, when the next North American total solar eclipse is said to pass over my home in Central Florida. But will I be around? If so, hope to do it in the nude!
