Ellen & SebbOriginal PosterFeb 27, 2019This is very true. We are both naturist and swinger. It's true that the naturist lifestyle lends itself to the swinger lifestyle to some extent, and the reverse would also be true. Such a happy coincidence. However, it is quite understandable why naturists (ourselves included) distance the community from sexuality. It's because of the perception of wider society. Naturists are often shunned because they are seen as perverts of some sort. Whilst both naturists and swingers see that both can be exclusive of the other, the average mong can't discern so.
WTH, I'll jump in here! Straight couple, Naturist with tolerance for swingers. I love the nudist lifestyle. So many do, from all walks of life. The "Swinger" lifestyle is no different than any number of alternative lifestyles, it's just not for us/me. We like and are very happy with our monogamy! What others prefer is not for me to judge nor condemn! Not my job! Doesn't mean you can't be nice people or share other interests......like nudism! I think sometimes there is the mentality that swingers are swingers because they are nudists rather than some swingers are swingers and just happen to be nudists. Not all nudists are swingers any more than all swingers are nudists. I suppose swingers, as a lifestyle, have a comfort level of being nude around others, more than most. As a result, they are more comfortable with the nudist lifestyle. I'm no psychologist, but perhaps some swingers will expound on this The way I see it. live your own life your way, it's your choice! Just don't inappropriately infringe on mine
ReactReply - E&

We are Straight Naturists. For ten years we always had our kids with us and enjoyed resorts which were very kid friendly so there was no consideration for swingers.

EarlDMar 1, 2019
No such thing as "Puritan Naturist." Just naturist. Of course you're just trying to fan the flames.
Agreed the idea only exists in the minds of people who are trying to redefine a non sexual activity to justify their own sexual proclivities. I wish they would just own up to being what they are and stop trying to attach to naturism which has a clear definition which has nothing to do with sexual activity. They could just say I am a swinger who likes to be naked, and leave naturism out of their lifestyle. These are the folks that are ruining the possibility of naturist acceptance.ReactReply - E&

AMar 6, 2019As long as people adhere to commonly accepted naturist "code of conduct" while in regular nudie setting, is fine enough with me, no matter if they swingers, rotaries, jehovah's witnesses, socialists or Trump supporters. Bottom line is, that any preference or activity that is not strictly illegal (and even there I would give some leeway to victimless crimes), is OK as long as it does not contradict naturist code of conduct or people refrain from it in naturist setting. So public swinging or public JW missionary work, as well as political propaganda or even ofensive fundraising for good cause I all deem unfit to regular naturist setting. On the other hand, if there are more closed meetings for any of above mentioned groups, in nude or not, they are free to do what they like.

McdcvsMar 6, 2019I agree with Lee. The only issue is when swingers use nudist venues as a recurring ground or engage in sex play in the open. If you are a swinger who happens to be a nudist, I would never know unless you told me so what do I care.

That's fine if you are a swinger. Just don't be swinging on a nude beach where you could get the beach closed because of your actions or at a resort where it's not allowed.ReactReply - E&

And while we are happy to discuss and welcome invitations in naturist places, we definitely don't like blurring the lines. For example, outrageous outfits at 7pm is a bit much. This should be a post-watershed occurrence and only in specific zones. Having said that, we would say the same in general society. Going to Tesco in your raunchiest outfit at 3pm on a Wednesday isn't quite right. Doing so in the nightclub district of a major city on a Saturday night, is far more aceptable.ReactReply
