New laptop - unable to enter chat

I have a new Dell XPS running Windows 7 64 bit with a hi-def display.  I can successfully log on to TN, view my account, access the forums, etc.  But after I click on Chat and then click on the "I agree" button, the next screen only shows a button to log off chat.  I can't get in the room.  On my desktop computer running Vista, I can enter the chat room, so I know the chat room is working and not full.
I've turned off the firewall and tried again, but that doesn't help either.
Any ideas?
