Nude protest in Byron Bay, Australia — General Discussion on True Nudists

A group of north NSW coast women have put their bodies on the line, literally, in an effort to stop councils and government authorities spraying glyphosate (roundup) in their weed reduction activities. In particular the council have been spraying in the Tyagarah Nature Reserve, which is where the popular nudist beach is, to kill bitu grass. This pesticide has been found to be carcinogenic yet there are no warning signs in the area about the spraying.

My congratulations and best wishes goes out to these wonderful women. It should be noted that, in the United States, what these women are doing would be considered as protected free speech. They are well within their rights of free speech and would be protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution. The World Nude Bike Ride is another example of protected free protest speech. Can we think of any other things to protest in this manner?
