Oprah Show — General Discussion on True Nudists

Did anyone watch the Oprah show 10-13-2010 ? A lady wanted to know if she was normal because she cleaned her home nude after everyone left the house and Oprah acted like it was not normal to do that,and most of the people there thought the same way,I myself think it's a great way to clean or work on the inside of the home or outside where you can,I even worked on my ex-wifes home inside nude except for shoes,so what's the big deal? Am I not normal?How many of you clean or work around the home nude?I don't do it all the time but do when I can.

I do nearly 100% of my inside and outside home chores in the buff. Only in shorts, no shirt, when I work in the front yard. It's the only way to go!

I ALWAYS clean in the nude.
Besides, everybody who looks around a bit can find out easily that Oprah doesn't really know what she's talking about. She never checks her facts on anything and always just goes with the general opinion of what is considered "normal".
I think the category of cleaning in the nude falls under one of those things that people just don't like to admit. Similar to the myth of women watching pornography compared to the percentage of men. The percentage of women is actually a LOT higher but they just don't like to admit it because its not considered "socially normal."

One thing you have to remember is that it is her job to make out that the person is abnormal, or the show would come to a halt immediatley. Her's and other shows like this thrive on the controversy so she is not really in a postiion where she can say "yes I agree there is nothing wrong with that"
If she did I am fairly certain she would get quite a few "messages from her sponsors"; possiby even one with the American equivalent of the British P45. (That is the document given to you when you leave a job, containing details of your tax situation).

if oprah thought that nothing was wrong with doing nude housework then the audience would of agreed, if oprah said standing on fenceposts was fun there would be thousands of people standing on fenceposts.
it seems oprah had to say it was not normal to do housework nude in order to uphold her moral superiority.

oprah who is oprah and why should her opinion matter to anyone, i can't believe people actually follow these tv entertainment idiots, there are so many educational shows or even good movies to watch over these type of people drama shows.

I just thought of something,maybe she should do a show about nudists and have most of or all of the people in the audiance be nudist and let them tell their story about being a nudist.I think it would be a good show if done right.I'm not that smart and wouldn't know what to say or I would contact her.So what do you think?

Oprah grew up not well to do at all and probably did do housework at one time - don't think she was nude though as she has some abuse history. She was lucky and built an empire. This is the last year of her show. I don't envy her the luck she had. We don't know how she enjoys her "off" time.
