  I understand your attempt at making this as basic as possible but the argument doesn't hold any water.  Even the definition of animal is derived from the latin term of "having breath" the "official" definition goes on to say that animals are typically "Non-Human" simply because humans are the only "animals" that have the ability to reason.  It is this ability that has massively complicated the whole issue of nudity and your argument.  While most "animals" have bodies that adapt to their surroundings, humans don't but we have the ability to use this reason to build shelters, wear clothes in cold weather, and move to another area via a plane or car that could never have been invented by a monkey (our closest animal relative)  Nice try but we should just stick to educating others on the freedom and natural states of nudity and forget about the animal argument.

  Humans are part of the Animal Kingdom.  There are two Kingdoms of living things:   Plants & Animals.  We fall under the Animals.  Under animals, you have reptiles, amphibians, insects, birds, mammals (not sure if I got them all).

  At one time, before he encountered humans, Tarzan decided to take a mate. He had his eye on Teeka, a young, beautiful, nubile female of the great apes. Unfortunately, Teeka would have nothing to do with Tarzan because he was so UGLY!

  Humans are the only animals with the ABILITY to reason and to think in a logical manner. There are many, however, who neglect to use that ability.

  I totally agree , some of our laws are so wrong . There are even laws , that make us wear certain types of clothing . There should be more clothing optional places to go .
  We get into big trouble if we go out into the public nude , yet any other animal there is no problem .... its so wrong

  Wow, did we forget that there are LOTS of "lower" animals who can reason, creatively think and make detailed distinctions? Octopi, dogs, bears, dolphins, apes, even rats, some birds, and sea mammals all have been tested or observed using tools, mimicking others, building homes, modifying environments, removing obstacles, or devising clever solutions to seemingly difficult dilemmas. Simply because they do not vocalize their findings, we assume they have not "thought through" their answers, quite the same way we assume mute humans to be clearly logically and cranially deficient. Many
  "animals" can do incredible things that we (being their obvious "superiors") cannot. They must laugh at our fragility, slowness, dependance on slow and inefficient thought, and lack of ability to adapt and assimilate into our environment. I, for one, am proud to be part of the animal kingdom and proud to have so many impressive and fascinating brethren. Yes, they live in their natural state and we should at LEAST be comfortable joining them when in their mileu, outdoors in the sun, and in natural surroundings.
