For those of you who are nude most of the time, do you feel physically constricted when you do have to wear something?
Does it just feel uncomfortable to put on any clothing at all?
I wear just gym shorts often enough, but find other clothing confining.
Examples.
When I have been shirtless for a while, it just doesn't feel right when I first put one on.
After wearing shorts essentially all summer, I have been wearing slacks more as the weather gets cooler, but having clothing below the knee doesn't feel right.
I have preferred to wear a speedo solar when I had to wear something for swimming for some time, but since I stopped wearing underwear ( usually briefs) they feel so confining.

floridaslimOct 1, 2017I have no discomfort when putting on clothes. My issue is that I would prefer to just stay naked.

PaulOct 1, 2017I don't know about real discomfort of having cloths on, but it doesn't feel right but I have to now it is getting colder.

I wouldn't say clothes are a discomfort but more of a burden to me. When I do have to wear something around the house I wear a pair of shorts that barely cover and light weight. When I go out, its dressed down as much as possible and the clothes are off when I walk in the door at home.

I feel discomfort with clothes. Whenever I have to clothe, I have a cramped feeling.

TomOct 2, 2017For me it depends upon the situation. I haven't felt discomfort having to put clothes on, yet have felt relief once taking them off. I guess I kind of relate it to getting home after a long day on my feet, and then getting to take off my shoes and socks. Following the clothing optional mantra, "clothed when practical and nude when appropriate," seems necessary for survival in today's society. That being said, being nude is usually much more comfortable for me - temperature dependent! One thing is certain -sleepingwith clothes on is not comfortable nor preferable for me!ReactReply - OL
OllyOct 2, 2017I would change your mantra to "Nude when practical, clothed when necessary". I do find clothing a bit uncomfortable - pulling here, rubbing there, constraining elsewhere. So being naked is much more comfortable - with one exception: when it is cold.

When coming into the house shoes, socks, and pants come off immediately. I especially find clothes uncomfortable when engaged in any activity the induces sweating, and that could be as simple as sitting around with a temperature above 75. Given the opportunity, I would be nude most all of the time at home and in the yard, but the lack of pockets is sometimes less convenient than being dressed.

I_am_SteveOct 5, 2017I find clothes uncomfortable most of the time, but to varying degrees. Obviously they're worse when it's hot but I generally find them to be oppressive. I'm one of those people who bends around a lot and uses their toes to grab and move things so I find them incredibly restrictive at best and sometimes they just make me itchy.

When I go some place in warm weather that requires a shirt, I generally put it on when I get there and remove it as soon as I am out the door to go home.ReactReply - TD

I often feel restricted even when wearing shorts and my shorts are short. That said, I will shed the shorts before a shirt.

But if I go to a non-nudist beach or pool, I choose to wear a speedo, since it's the smallest amount of clothing acceptable in such a situation.[/quote] I used prefer speedos but since I stopped wearing underwear I found then very confining and now prefer a. McdcvsSep 30, 2019I dont clothing uncomfortable most of the time. I dont like to eat with a suit jacket on. I dont like to drive with a winter coat on. Now that I am a nudist, i dont wear underwear when I go to the gym or ride my bike. There is a certain cut of gym shorts that has seems in all the wrong places. I didnt really notice it when I was wearing underwear but I do now.
I do wear underwear when I am working but I have changed to long legged boxer briefs because they are more comfortable.

PaulOct 1, 2019I have Asperger's Syndrome. Because of that, I do feel actual physical discomfort when clothing is on me. My blood pressure soars with clothes on, but after removing clothes, is almost immediately down to normal range. Society is killing me.

Yes I do. If I have been wearing clothes for a long period of time, I am used to it and don't notice that much but if I put on clothes after being nude for a while, it does feel uncomfortable and it seems like I can feel every fiber of the fabric scratching., or even feeling constrained. Althletic shorts are usually not too bad.

TruckingnudeApr 27, 2020I have been a nudist trucker for more than 40 years, and to this day, I STILL HATE, to have to put any clothes on, when I stop for fuel. It is SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE, to drive unrestricted, with clothes off. SURE...I "cover up", when passing busses, and when I cross the weigh stations, and when I stop for fuel, or make a delivery, or a pickup, but other than that, I am perfectly comfortable being nude, and I sometimes "just forget", that I am naked, when I pull into a truck stop for fuel, but I haven't gotten out to fuel but once, before I realized I wasn't dressed, but no problem. If more people drove naked, and didn't screw with their phones so much, there would be a LOT less accidents....just my 2 cents, so ENJOY driving naked....start off doing it at night until you get comfortable with doing it....watch your speed, and obey all laws, and you won't have any problems. YES...us trucker do look like myself, CAN see into your vehicle, but MOST drivers out there today, are too busy screwing with their photos, or tablets, and will most likely never notice your nude, unless you ride along beside of them. Have FUN my fellow nudists, and ENJOY driving nud. I Hope to see yall out on the Interstates this upcoming year! Skinnydipper" CB Handle

Interesting question. At first, I think my answer would be what others have said - more of a burden. But, whenever I have been nude for an extended period of time - I actually do feel as though my skin is crawling and depressed. It's as though my body and soul cannot breathe. I find it especially true having not worn anything for a week or more. It is not painful, but an acute awareness of not really being able to survive. A feeling of repression.
ReactReply - MEMemberApr 27, 2020
It is mostly a question of comfort and frreedom of movement. After not wearing clothes for a few hours, even more so after a few days, when clothes go back on it feels like my skin can't breathe or cool itself. Yesterday, after being nude for almost three days, went out to run errands for a couple of hours and couldn't wait to get home to take my clothes off.

PaulMay 1, 2020In my reply 7 months ago, I confessed to having Asperger's syndrome, and one way it affects me if over-sensitivity to some things, like clothes.
Since having to work from home a lot lately, I have noticed this effect even more on the days I have to work in the field. Clothing actually causes physical pain. No, I'm not making this up or being dramatic. I discovered that when wearing clothing, I have forced my mind to try and ignore the stimulus of the skin irritation, and it mentally tasks me. I have now rediscovered that without clothing, I can work much longer hours without tiring mentally, and produce much better work (I'm an engineer).
For whatever that is worth.
