Public bath houses (sentos/onsens) in Japan — General Discussion on True Nudists

I'm going to Japan in June and I'm excited to visit the sentos and super sentos. Have you been? Do you have any tips from a naturist perspective other than the typical instructions everyone gives online? Tell me about your experience. Do you have any recommended sentos/onsens? I'll be visiting Tokyo, Okinawa, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Takayama, and Kanazawa.

Some hotels in Japan have their own onsens - especially the hotel dormy chain. The rules are pretty easy to follow, usually just required to get nude in the change area and no clothing is allowed in the shower, sauna, pool areas. Sure you will have a great time enjoying them.
