Finishing up long naturist weekend three days going in four of naturist social interaction and activity. So different from what is seen online. I saw people playing volleyball, talking walks, riding bikes, doing yoga, cooking, socializing, playing games, watching movies, sunning clothes free. Young couples, older couples, same gender couples, single mothers and their daughters, single dads and their sons, two parent families with kids, grandparents and their grand kids, kids playing in sand boxes safe and secure, all part of a naturist community. No one posing for pics, talking about penis size, sprouting public erection, lurking, creeping, Just people respecting each other and the environment while practicing social nudity. This is real life naturism and the thing being lost to nudism online.

If you what to be true nudist, seek out and pursue real life naturism. Feel the freedom and get connected in community. If you experience this then online nudism will never be sufficient again.

I'm glad you were able to both see it and participate in it. That had to be a truly great weekend. Maybe this post will help other nudists to realize that TN is a cyber nudist world and that the genuine article is out there.

I agree, there is a special connection to others when you are enjoying social nudity at a clothes free club or resort, everyone is friendly and accepting always on an equal level.

Like so much else in this day and age everything seems to drift towards individuals instead of community despite human being naturally design for community. I often wonder what I am doing on this site. So much of the content and so many people here have nothing to do with true nudism/naturism. If I had a nudist resort within two hours of my home to satisfy my social nudist needs, I probably would not be here. As it is, I've met a few good nudists here and have had some good conversations. One valuable thing has been other people's thoughts and comments on nudism found in the groups and forums. That said, a week at my favorite nudist resort is worth a year of visiting this site. The biggest difference is that at the resort, the male-female ratio is about 1:1, as opposed to about 50:1 here at best. If you ran the statistics on the membership here, it wouldn't be that bad, but you have to remember 95% of the new female profiles since Covid are fakes, and the woman behind the profile may actually be a man. Making it worse, most of the real nudist females on the site are no longer active, having been run off by the pervs. Bottom line--this is social media.

Andy, I largely agree with what you said but wanted to add a detail to your statement,"With that, more and more fake nudists, pervs and undesirables came aboard."I believe this would've been better rebuffed had our site moderators been more attentive in their group review. If you check the varied groups for the last time the moderator has logged-on, you'll see that the time span gets longer and longer. At least one group moderator said they just got tired of checking on the group. When that occurs and the mod 'just flat leaves the site' the real junk begins to appear at a much higher rate. And that's one that really can't be fixed.
John, this happens because the group Mods have their groups set to Public. ALL my groups are set to Private. Perspective group members don't get in unless I approve them. You also have group Mods that "require" members to submit naked photos of themselves once allowed to join. Should they refuse or not comply, the Mod deletes their membership. I've read where some group members have been allowed to join, submitted their naked photos and then they have been deleted from the group. Their naked pictures still remain in the group's gallery. Being a group Mod takes time and work. If you're not willing to put in the time and work to try and maintain some resemblance of true nudism, the fakes, pervs, swingers, undesirables will continue to increase. The good people will get tired of it and eventually leave the site. I've lost many friends here, many female friends here, because they just got tired of the decline in this site's direction and lack of attention from owners and Admin. Group Mods really have no authority at all. Even with a Private group setting, I can't delete photos from the group gallery, I can't keep a non-member or fake from posting in the group's discussions if they are a friend of a member. I can't delete a post that doesn't belong or is uncivil, disrespectful or rude.
What is the point of not allowing moderators the power to delete inappropriate material?

Ias one of the first people her when it was just 25 of us. I was a refugee from a site call nudist space that was overrun in much the same way this one is being overrun now. I left when the first round of wildling nudes started hijacking the site. Came back couple years later when I heard the had more moderators etc and purchased lifetime membership.

Suffice to say what is happening now is nothing like it was when the site first started. People got on cam without worry about being propositioned. We shared our experiences not just pictures and we talked about living life clothes free not objectifying women or genital paraphernalia.

The addition of those things is what takes this online experience further from real in persona naturist and nudist experiences.

I invited some people from that site to come over to TN. Only a handful of those people are still here. I left TN when the first round of wildling nudes started hijacking the site. I came back couple years later when I heard they had more moderators etc and I purchased lifetime membership. If not for that I probably would have left.

Suffice to say what is happening now is nothing like it was when the site first started. People got on cam without worry about being propositioned. If people behaved inappropriately on cam they were immediately called out and block by the majority. We shared our experiences, not just pictures. We talked about all kinds of subject including living life clothes free. We didnt talk about not objectifying women or genital paraphernalia. We talked about the places we visited and gathered not just sitting at home by ourselves. We planned meetups because it felt safe to connect with people you met here.

The addition of those sexual non naturist stuff is what takes this online experience further from real in person naturist and nudist experiences.

    Yeah...sighs...

I used to belong to a forum that is now long gone. We're talking late 90's. I used to visit the chatroom daily; and as homes mentioned, we'd just chat about nudism, encourage each other - be it about our "reluctant" spouses, or just finding a resort to go to. I actually ended up meeting local people from the chat - in person - at resorts and non-landed clubs. Which made chatting online even more meaningful since we'd actually met.

Pictures were taken when met in person and/or shared online; as there was no fear of the pics being leaked on the internet. There was camaraderie, and above all, trust.

I think that's unfortunately a thing of the past. And I don't think we can turn back the clock. Whereas "online nudism" and real-life nudism would sometimes blend, the distinction is now stark. Discord and suspicion have replaced goodwill and kindness (which I can admit is a problem I've been a part of). Which makes it all the more important to "get out there" and find people and or/spaces where nudism is practiced purposefully.

Nudony ... I was on NCH, Nudist Club House many years ago and really enjoyed it. I don't remember posting much to a group but had a great time with about 8 - 12 folks (on Cam) every night in the Chat room. But after two or three years, it was hi-jacked by some hacker who tried to blackmail everyone for money. To my knowledge, nothing ever became of it but the site basically shut down. The end came quick. I had been on TN a little during the NCH time but moved over here full time after the crash. It was a lot more friendly and fast moving about 12-13 years ago. I would really like to see this site do better but don't know if that's possible now. Andy, my lone moderated site, Florida Panhandle Nudists is set to 'Public' but I must approve all members and their submitted photos. It's pretty much a low traffic group so tacky posts have not been a problem and I did purge about 250 members at the outset of my moderator duties. I'm going to keep doing the same until I finally throw up my hands in disgust and hit the big delete button. I do enjoy the interaction and hope it continues for the foreseeable future.

I used to be on NCH before the hijack as well. Actually met some people on there who I later connected with in person because I recognized them from time in the chat room. They restarted a new site but it was invite only and they really limited the access and membership. Is that the site listed as nudistclubhouse.com or something different? The picture listed on the opening page is not what I remember from the original one. Also, the rules list is quite extensive. Anyway, I'm thinking it was about 2010 or so and the same NCH guy did CFI along with his day job at Disney. Has anyone else noticed the difference? And, just out of curiosity, who remembers the picture of Sparky with the funky hat & cake at her 60th birthday party. I always thought that picture was a genuine hoot!!
