While this is something we all already knew, it is great to see a researcher providing a study showing this.

Check it out.

We could have told them that. Lol. And we are happiest when naked. Now, if we could just get all the world's uptight people to get their gear off and chill, the world would be a better place. :-))
Great article. So does the blue nail polish help? LOL
That's not nail polish, but actually an indication the water is REALLY COLD. I wonder if Dr. West has participated in any naturist activities himself, in the interest of his research into this. If not, maybe he should, in the interest of personal first hand experience with the subject. I think this would probably help some, rather than just interviewing other people about it.

Well we know we are happy with our bodies so this will help a lot and not getting told off that our cloths are incorrect/out of fashion.

Just wish public newspapers would reprint positive articles without making the jokes.

Some of us would be even happier if our SO would accept and/or participate.

These make good headlines. In fact only a week ago our local paper ran a story with these exact words. And just to back it up the female journalist spent an entire week nude ("much to the amusement of her hubby") doing such in-depth research. I guess it titillated the textiles and generated some more ad revenue.
My wife pointed out the story to me. Coincidentally I had been nude every day for that week.

Next time I see an unhappy person, I'll suggest they take their clothes off. That should cheer them up!

Well Sydney from the show M*A*S*H once said, "Slide your pants down and slide on the ice".
"Ladies and Gentleman, take my advice. Pull down your pants, and slide on the ice." Sidney Friedman, MASH 4077
I don't know when or where that jingle began but we were using it as kids in the 1940's. When we were urged to say something or jokingly asked to give a speech, this ditty would pop out and everyone laughed.

The report on this study is very interesting but it just reinforces what we already knew. The people we need to convince, besides the general public, are the psychologists. They have to believe it enough to prescribe social nudism sessions to their sad and depressed patients.

I had a conversation about this (perhaps not this particular study) with someone studying psychology a little over a year ago with someone that is not a nudists, and didn't know that I was one. The science behind it was pretty sound from their perspective, and she even commented something to the effect of "perhaps I should become a nudist." but in a sarcastic tone. I told her that if she ever wanted to conduct her own study I'd be happy to participate.

Nudists are possibly happier because they are more self-confident.
