Do you feel secure giving out personal info...such as a phone # or email address... to people you meet on a site like this? ... especially if they have little or no profile entries, and they seem a little "too friendly" for someone you just met. No matter how nice they seem to be... doesn't that sound/look a little like they might want something other than just your friendship? :-/

FlokieMar 14, 2017On the rare occasion I have made plans to meet up with someone from here then I give them my telephone number so we can make arrangements but other than that I don't see why anyone would need it. As for email addresses, I think you'll find that many people will recommend that you have more than one email address and use a secondary one for online friends that you want to stay in touch with without giving away very personal identifiers like your real name, company you work for, location, etc.

mr. billMar 14, 2017we have met some wonderful folks thru this and other site, but personal information is not to be blasted out. Treat with respect will get in return, takes time to really know folks in cloth or not !
