Unfortunately, I think that's about the percentage of actual "True Nudists" on this site. I would also like to encourage all actual nudists on this site who truly believe in the beneifits of naturism to sign. cn

macnudeOriginal PosterApr 4, 2011
1685 is a nationwide total. If 20% of them are Tee-Enners, it would be astounding.
Frankly, I'd be surprised if 5% came from TN. The statistics which I quoted only were to illustrate how much potential is here. Additionally, I don't feel that this petition will have any impact until 30,000 or more signatures are on the document. These signatures must posted one by one and from all sources. If a large percentage of TNs get on board, it would be a big help.ReactReply - GD
GDApr 4, 2011I tried signing it before but I live in the UK and not the US so I couldn't sign as it requres a state...

Tom === Thomas S. TierneyApr 4, 2011
75,373 profiles listed on this site and only 1,685 signatures on the Nudists Bill of Rights. Time to stand up for what you believe.http://www.aanr.com/nudist-bill-of-rights
Shame on who? I signed the damned thing a month ago.ReactReply - DE
DesertRatApr 4, 2011To those people who are elegiable to sign and have not taken a few moments to sign, this message is for you. Many people are too complacent to do things for themselves. They'd prefer to have someone else to do the work and they reap the benefits. Well if you ever don't like the way things are going for you, don't blame anyone but your self. Some people had to stand up and fight for any rights that we now have, If you don't do everything you can to nuture, protect, defend and increase those rights, you will lose them. Once they are lost, it will take a long time to regain them. I am urging you to please add your name to this document. Oh yeah, this same thing applies to casting your vote in every election that is open to you.

interested81940Apr 4, 2011Signed the petition when it was first discussed in AANR newsletter. I wonder how many on this site are members of AANR?
ReactReply - DADanandJanetteApr 4, 2011
Just an FYI, Canadian residents can also sign, as the geographical list includes provinces. And yes, I signed.
ReactReply - MEMemberApr 4, 2011As of this exact moment, there are 43,637 TN profiles from the US and Canada... WHAT ARE YOU ALL WAITING FOR? Y'all have had several invitations now!
Jen
p.s. I see that at least one TN member from the UK managed to figure out a way to sign it. You know who you are

Did you just fill out the details as if you lived in America?ReactReply - EV

macnudeOriginal PosterApr 4, 2011This was certainly not directed at those who signed or those who tried but could not. It was directed to those who would not make the two clicks to help the nudist life.

ChuckApr 4, 2011I put my name on it the 1st week on the site. So come on all you so called nudist on TN let's get those names on it!!!

AApr 4, 2011As not having residence in US nor CAN, at least in present form the site doesn't allow signing without state/province info and that I couldn't provide for the sake of accuracy.

SteveApr 8, 2011I for one have not signed and do not want to. And though no one will ask, I'll give you two reasons anyway. 1 - I think the document itself is meaningless. 2 - The AANR can better indicate the size of interest in nude issues by pointing to the number of PAID members they have (myself included). Having an open web site where anyone can type in a first name and a city (or many first names if they wished) is hardly evidence of real support.
