So I've recently picked up rug twining and it requires me to sit on the scratchy carpet or equally scratchy cushion. Anyone recommend a nice material to scoot to cheeks upon as I move across the loom?

Thanks in advance.

I'm allergic to wool, and always use something when I sit on a carpet. Usually, a thin, cotton-covered cushion, sold as azabutonfor meditation, big enough to sit cross-legged on. If you need to slide around, how about a rayon pareu?

A nice hardwood floor would do the trick, lots better than a cold tile floor. No itchiness from either of those two types of flooring either.

And then there is your basic towel - every nudist has one. :D

I don't know what rug twining is. But, do you have to be naked to do it?
