Strange but Yummy

So TN, what kinds of things do you eat that you think (or other people might think) sounds absolutely disgusting, but tastes oh so yummy when combined?  It can be anything that you or someone you know likes to eat, and don't be afraid!  We're all friends here!

My favorite thing to eat when I want something easy and filling yet not TOO unhealthy is canned tunafish, lowfat miracle whip, one chopped up dill pickle, and a bit of onion.  .  And then I put it on wheat crackers.

For my fiance, I'd have to say the strangest thing he eats is french style green beans with litehouse chunky blue cheese dressing and crushed up cheezits.  I can't imagine eating it, I hate green beans more than anything, but then again I'm not sure how he feels about my tuna and crackers concotion either.

Another strange thing comes from my mother...  Who absolutely loves mixing a scoup of peanut butter with karo syrup and chowing down.  It always made me hurl and to this day just catching a whiff of peanut butter and syrup turns my stomach.

So come on, I know everyone's got something odd they find tastey, give us a share!
Deep fried chicken livers!!! That is my favorite comfort food. It is hard to find a restaurant that will cook them right without over cooking them. -JR
Visit the Columbia, SC area - Lizzards Thicket makes them pretty darned good - they're the special on Tuesdays.
I worked on a cattle ranch in Wyoming for a while, and Rocky Mountain Oysters are incredibly delicious! (fried bull testicles)
I grew up on a ranch, and I agree they are great.  A place I used to work at would hav soul food for lunch occassionally.  I would blow people's mind because I would get chitterlings (hog intestine sliced into rings and fried)

I had a plate of sweetbreads today at a wonderful Mexican restuarant in San Antonio, TX.  Pretty awesome, although my sweet wife didn't like. Gator1

There used to be a restaraunt in Memphis, Tn called Dundees. It served buffalo, snake, octopus, alligator, ostrich and a whole menu full of what was exotic food at the time. It went out of business mostly due to the fact that everyone couldnt fathom the idea of broadening their horizons. It stayed about 2/3 empty all the time and the bad part is that everything on the menu was great. I really miss it, it was great for those special occasions.
