The Doctors TV show is shown nationally in the US and all over Canada. Tomorrow, Friday, February 18th they will air a segment called "The Naked Truth About your Health." Here is the link:http://www.thedoctorstv.com/main/show_page/D3099To find what time it airs in your town, click here:http://www.thedoctorstv.com/main/local_listingsTom and I were guests on the show. We were on for about 15 minutes which will be edited to maybe 4-5 minutes. So we anxiously see how they edit our section. During the show, one doctor admited going to nudist resorts in the Caribbean, and all 4 doctors said "skinny dipping, yes!" Hopefully those parts will be included in the show. I hope everyone enjoys it. Mary Clare Terra Cotta Inn, sunny Palm Springs, CAhttp://sunnyfun.com

The show is an hour long show which means about 40 minutes plus commercials. They taped our segment for about 15 minutes and we were told it would be edited down to 4-5 minutes. Of our segment, the doctors talked for around 10 minutes and we tlaked for around 5 minutes, so it will be interesting to see who they edit it.
It was all positive especially when the 1 doctor admited to going to a nudist resort in the Caribbean.
We're hoping they keep in the part where all four doctors go "skinny dipoping, yes!"

The Doctors is distrubuted through CBS but it is syndicated so other stations can pick it up. That's why you have to look here to see what time and what station it will be on in your area tomorrow on Friday Feb 18th. It airs across the US and Canada.http://www.thedoctorstv.com/main/local_listingsHave fun watching it. MC

I've enjoyed The Doctors a number of times, and learned some useful things.  Last year, they did a segment that also touched on sunbathing, and Dr. Drew admitted that "I don't have tan lines".  When one of the other doctors asked if that meant he sunbathed nude, he allowed that he was a skinnydipper.  I thought it was pretty cool. it's kinda a shame that mary and hubby got less face time than dr. ruth. at least a positive view was taken on the subject and was not really used as tongue in cheek humor to boost the show.

The show aired Friday and we have received lots of positive comments. You can see it here:http://www.thedoctorstv.com/videolib/init/3669Tom was the one that spoke about the benefits of nude recreation, all about AANR, etc. He was cut out completely. They filmed our segment for about 15 min and said it would be edited down to 4-5 minutes. It was 3 1/2 minutes. Although I wish they kept in what Tom said, overall the show was very positive. Dr. Ordan said he and his wife enjoy vacationing at nudist beach resorts. And the doctors answered this question "sounds like your all pro skinny dipping now?" with big yesses. This is a big, popular show. It shows that nude recreation is being more and more mainstreamed. Hope everyone enjoys the segment. MC

We did plug Terra Cotta. Tom talked a total of maybe 4 minutes answering questions, I am actually pretty shy on camera. everything Tom said was cut except for his thank you. But, that's TV, you neer know how the show will be edited.

Kudos to MC and Tom for being on the show and promoting the naturist lifestyle!  Well done!
I am quite disappointed, however, that the show itself combined nudism with sex, as if they are one and the same topic.  Here we are, trying so hard to separate the two and a highly popular and respected television show gives millions of viewers the wrong impression, helping to further blur the lines.  Very irresponsible, in my opinion.

Watched the show with my wife and we thought your segment was well done; just wished they had given the subject more air time.  Thanks for giving nudism another positive public exposure.

I actually set my scheduler on the cell phone so I would remember to watch this show. I must say I was quite unimpressed by some of the comments, they were connecting nudity and sexuality on a few points.
There were also some incredibly stupid questions they were answering....is it ok to skinny dip naked, is it OK to be in a sauna naked, is it ok to sleep nude....is it OK to shave pubic hair......what insane questions! Nothing there that couldnt have been condensed down to 5 minutes, leaving much more time to  answer some serious queries about naturism, nude resorts, and maybe the nude living lifestyle.
Overall rating, 5 out of 10. Sorry, but I think they treated the topic as a titilating and attention getting unimportant topic.

Oliver, The show was called "The Naked Truth about your health." It covered many different areas of being nude like going to see your doctor. So it was not just about sex. You're the first person to bring up where you thought nudism was confused with sex on this show and we've received well over 500 e-mails or read posts on forums  about it.
Now Dr Ruth is always about sex, but she wasn't on that segment.

Thanks MC for the link.  I was wondering if any of the audience members approached you afterwards inquiring about nudism.  I know there are a lot of people interested in it but just don't know how to get started. Thought they might see this as a perfect opportunity to get some good information.   cn
