I've noticed that the vast majority of users on this site have not been certified users yet.  As it was one of the major reasons why I joined here (that and the chatroom lol), I'm curious as to why.   I know you kind of feel dorky holding a sign in front of a camera, but really, it's not that bad.  So, you people who aren't certified, why dont' you take the plunge?  Curious minds want to know. :)

The guy is a bloody whiz when it comes to this stuff. lol
Hehe, now I'M embarrassed! .......Thanks, that was very flattering Swifty, but I'm not sure I deserve it, (sorry for the delay by the way, had visitors) Jerry probably knows far more than me! .....I only know what I've picked up from trial and error and here the code seems to flash up for a second and then it's gone and you have to remember it's there. It doesn't always work for me and I don't really know why. I think if I were to do a complicated bit I would hit the reply button rather than Quote, and then put the quotes in myself so I could see them. As far as I can tell, alnudecpl have got it right, you just put *
* (without the stars that I just put in to stop it working here, fingers crossed) and *
* (don't forget the / ) at the end of the bit you want to quote. Just remember if you hit the quote button the code is there but you can't see it. Another thing I've twigged is, .......If you copy from the net, a document or write a piece on Outlook Express, (same probably goes for Word and other programmes) Spellcheck it, and then paste it onto Notepad. ........THEN, Copy it AGAIN from there, and you LOOSE all the HTML code, so that when you paste it onto the forum, it comes out all right :)

ok, so the stars didn't stop it from working :) .....so, it's "quote"  but in square brackets [ ] not speach marks, at the start, and "/quote" in square brackets [ ] not speach marks at the end.  :)

Wonder if this will work
---
just remove the forward slash form the first quote ???

I believe there should be a time period for a person or couple to certify. Also, there should be a mechanism in place to remove offensive groups immediately. The chat room needs a mod..asap.

I have not posted a picture for two reasons. For one, I don't have the equipment to do so. We had a digital camera at one point but, it has not worked for a long time and I don't have the means to buy a new one yet. Second, I feel weary of posting a nude photo of myself on the web. You really never know where it may end up. I find it rather anoying that in order to be a True Nudist, you HAVE to post a picture. I have been a die hard nudist all my life but, not according to this site. Oh well.

If someone really is a nudist then they shouldn't really worry about being seen nude. I sent in my picture for the certification process on the very first day I was introduced to this website.
Your True Nudists certification pics DO NOT get posted on the web.  Unless you wish it so and load them onto your profile yourself.  They sent to, and are only seen by TT in order to give your profile the Certified graphic.  If you check the procedure for becoming certified you'll see that. With so many digi cameras out there, web cams, and cell phone cams, I just can't buy the "I don't have a camera" excuse.  Everybody knows somebody with a bit of equipment they can borrow for a few minutes.
I would add that digital cameras are surprisingly cheap these days AND turn out very nice pictures. You don't have to pay hundreds of dollars for a digital camera UNLESS your really want to or are heavily into serious photography. And no more having to load film! Put in the little diskette, remove when it's full, load the photos onto your hard drive, erase the ones on the diskette, insert back into the camera and VOILÀ! Couldn't be easier!
