What I mean is that so many married couples, married women and single women don't want single men. Well I am real even though my face is hidden on my profile pic but most nudists don't want single men like me. Maybe I don't get it. I think it's judgmental towards real men that want to talk in pm to real people either married or single. I like talking in pm but I guess most don't. I even understand that most men can be fake too. I am sorry but it's getting frustrating that most married people and single women don't want to chat with real single guys in pm

    Dont want single men?

I dont get what you mean. Textile men dont complain that they are discriminated for being single.

I get all that. My face is hidden for privacy. Yes I need to get more involved but I love to talk in private. Is chatting in private wrong? I hope not

I rarely chat or PM on here as I got sick of the so called nudist on here that are here not for nudist enlightenment but sexual excitement.
I have spoken to many on this site in the earlier time, but i shut down when the topic starts discussing my wife and her nudist activities.
Then of course comes the requests for pictures of her and wanting to see her on cam.

    The result
My wife has given up social nudism and wont partake of this medium because of the sleazes that permiate social media.

People who say they are nudist but in reality all they are is nude people seeking sexual thrills really piss me off.
We now call ourselves naturist as we like to be nude in nature or our home with or without other naturist..

You can tell a lot about someone by the groups they join.

    Like who to actively avoid.

Remember many of these single "females" who don't want to be contacted by males are in fact "males" themselves who use a stolen photo for their profile photo.

I went back to the starting question: effectively are married couples and females biased against single males? It was posed by a man who, though naked, hid his face and who appears driven by his Conservative Religion.

Many years ago I was a fervent Christian. My late wife and I organised many evangelical events. But we were [strong]so[/strong] disappointed by the behaviour of the so-called Christians around us - being more judgemental than forgiving. (Isn't Easter all about forgiveness?) Protestants and Catholics treated each other as worse than evil. We felt Christianity had become overwhelmed by Religion - by men [strong]imposing[/strong] their particular interpretation of the bible on others. As a result my wife declared herself "A born again atheist" and I followed. Religion has led to too much hatred and many wars. [strong]Surely we need to reflect a wider more rounded personality.[/strong] And to make room for others who may be different to ourselves. I hope I manage to do that. As a result I have not faced prejudice, even though I'm a single male.

    [quote]I think it is perfectly within everyone's right to be selective in who they talk to. Clothed or unclothed, social norms are the same and we cannot expect hit it off or befriend everyone. Sure there may be a negative stereotype towards "single men", but enough bad instances have happened that warrant caution and skepticism. In a perfect world we would give every person a chance and the light of day - I mean who doesn't agree that every person is an individual and unique, right? Just try to get involved in the community bit by bit. Forums and groups give people the opportunity to see who you are. We can only do so much about the ground people paved before us.[/quote] {LIKE}

While I don't like the fact that some people or nude resorts don't want single men there or on here, by some of the comments I've seen on TN I can understand why. As my wife has told me many times, it's generally not the women who are the pervs, it's the men. That's really what gives nudism the bad rap. I don't mind people commenting on my pictures here but when they are saying things like "Nice Ass" or "I'd suck on that" that turns me off. Not on here for that reason. You can imagine what some men say to the women on here which are far and few between these days. I have been to Cypress Cove a half dozen times now and have never had a problem with people there accepting me in their conversations or sporting games like pickle ball and tennis. At some point it usually comes up in conversation of where is my wife? ( I do wear a wedding band so kind of a give away).

My main purpose here is to talk to real people that go nude whether if they show their face or not. I don't even care about sexuality, married or dating or single. I just want to chat in private with someone and get to know that person. Plus I don't judge others. I just want to get along with others on here too. Is that too much to ask for someone to talk to me in private?

It would be like going to a nudist resort and asking some one to go somewhere private where you can talk to them alone. If it is some one you know and they enjoy private conversations with you, thats one thing. But if you are just meeting them it sounds more like you have another agenda.

I get it that most times that private conversations anywhere can be nervous. I would be too but I would like to chat in private in the chat room on here no matter the gender, sexuality, married, or single. That's is what I prefer to do on here anyway but not at a nude resort though

My point is, let people get to know you before asking them to chat privately.

If you read AndyDi (post #24) reply, you get a since why people are so cautious.

I gave up the chat room, almost everyone who private messaged me was after creepy sex chat.

I always checked the profile before answering a hi, and even if the profile looked sensible it soon became clear the other person was not a naturist, just an idiot in a chat room with an agenda.

If they look fake, I won't private them either. I even won't mind messaging outside of the chat room too

Hmmmm caution flag 3) In 5 months that you've rejoined; you've joined over a dozen groups and have posted some comments but they all seem to be on masturbation and sin. Hmmmm another caution flag. 4) Your willingness to chat via Skype and Gmail is another caution flag. Why not contribute, get involved in grouping discussions and let other members get to know who you are via various discussions other than masturbation and sin. The need for anonymity is shared by many members here and I'm friends with some but I didn't become friends with them until I read lots of what they had to say on many, many topics. You need to allow others to get to know you and from what I see on your profile and read of the comments on threads that you've posted, it sends up caution flags for a great many people/members. Just food for thought![/quote] I appreciate your reply on this subject. It seems to be difficult to find relevant topics to participate in, however, Im new to the site and still navigating. Once again, thanks for your reply. Its helpful.

Also, single men always seem to want to make friends only with couples, I wonder why that is when there seem to be so many lonely men.

Why the desperate attempts, when the chat room is full with (genuine single nice nudist) blokes who just want to chat .

Keep and open mind and only befriend those worthy of friendship. Let go of the rampant homophobia that exists here as well as in society. Stand up to those who are closed minded, judgemental, and form a chat room lynch mob to shout down and shut down anyone who dares to start any kind of conversation beyond "naked hugs and cyber kisses". Just take control of the situation and go after what you want in life as it sure won't come to you and fall into your lap.

[quote] Seriously, guys, lets say you are chatting in the lunchroom with a co-worker (male or female) about that dreadful last episode of Game of Thrones and some moron sits down and changes the subject to the size of his penis. What would you do? Same here, except everyone is nude.[/quote] Most people will not complain about anything. Those who do will do nothing beyond complain. They will take no action. Pick any topic in the textile world, insurance companies ripping people off, pharmaceutical companies ripping people off, etc. How many actually follow through with a lawsuit to force insurance or pharmaceutical companies to do the right thing. As far as nudism is concerned, it is always the same small group of people who actually do all of the work to promote nudism and keep what few nudist facilities that we have. The best that this group can do is to get some financial support from those who complain about lack of nudist facilities, etc but will do nothing about actually working to gain more nudist facilities.
