I suppose it will be better after I've fumbled through it a few hundred times.

I don't know what other people think about this new upgrade to the site, but I'm finding it a little awkward to use.
I suppose it will be better after I've fumbled through it a few hundred times.
Fumbling and awkward seem to be the key words here. I don't know if it's the new site , my connection or my computer but things are working much slower now. Everything seems to be disjointed right now.ReactReply - DE
DesertRatSep 28, 2011I'd like to see the letters to the Forum compressed horizontally so we can read a page with out shifting it from side to side.

openrangeSep 28, 2011not to crazy about it set up like facebook. we too liked the main page. 2 of 3 photos ( and nothing distasteful ) again have been deleted from our pics and a lot of navigation to get use to....

gator1Sep 28, 2011I just noticed that I lost nearly 400 posts, and went from being Super Nudist Level 2 to plain ole Super Nudist. Go figureReactReply - FL
FlokieSep 28, 2011In general, the upgrade seems to be more cosmetic than anything but I'm still feeling my way around. I won't say I'm crazy about it but I'm trying to keep an open mind. I tend to get a bit set in my ways. :-) One thing that I REALLY like is we can finally update locations and add locations outside of the United States! I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for that. I updated a couple of Canadian locations today and already see the changes although the country is still listed as United States rather than Canada. Doh! I may have forgotten to make that change so I have re-submitted and hopefully they'll start appearing in Canada soon.
I challenge everyone to check your favourite resort/beach/club and update the information to make it more useful for the rest of us.

RailRabbitSep 28, 2011
And does anyone know how to get to the "Home" page? Is it still there? When I click on "Home" it goes back to my page. Am I missing something?
I was wondering about that myself.ReactReply - BR
BruceSep 29, 2011Just seen the new format for the first time, it's going to take some getting used to and time to learn to navigate my way around.

One thing that should be adopted in the forum is the actual date and time of the post rather thanX seconds/minutes/hours/etc. ago.

Agreed with that. :-)ReactReply - MEMemberSep 30, 2011
The premium image definitely has to go.
Folklover, couldn't agree with you more. I find it distasteful, offensive and feel that it completely sends the wrong message.
JenReactReply - MEMemberSep 30, 2011It will take some time to get used to. But, I think it is an improvement.
One problem I noticed; a few of the pictures in the gallery are out of proportion. The ones most obvious are 'stretched' vertically making the individual look like a tall toothpick. Is this a clitch in the program or is there a way to avoid this with the uploading process?

DesertRatSep 30, 2011After using the new site for a few days and getting to know it's ins and outs, I feel that TT1 threw the baby out with the bathwater. As with so many things in life, always be leery of something that is new and improved. Chances are good that it is neither.
ReactReply - MEMemberOct 1, 2011umm I really dont like seeing other peoples new friends,, why would I wish to see who has made friends with who?
I also do not like the ability to see outher peoples comments-not sure about why that is important either-its sort of snooping.
Other side, there is more logic to this layout - I do thou miss the current topics of convo on the front page. I feel for new people it makes people feel at home by almost asking for their input.ReactReply - NA
NakedBadgerOct 1, 2011Getting used to it ... TMI right on my personal home page, though: both for me and for anybody who casually wanders past it ...

FlokieOct 4, 2011I'm still waiting for real changes to prove to me this is a nudist/naturist site rather than a soft porn site. I've read lots of posts interpreting what they believe are the intentions of the site owner but really nothing from the owner himself. TT1 used to keep a blog and would post updates about upcoming changes and what was going that helped everyone feel a bit connected to him but he stopped adding to that blog back in 2008 and I have only seen very rare posts since that get lost in the forum and cannot be searched.
The stated purpose of this site is supposed to be to promote naturism/nudism but you would never know it from the number of profiles that list their hobbies as swinging and then go on to list their favourite sexual proclivities.
I want to be a financial supporter and promoter of naturism but am not yet a paid member of this site and I won't because I really don't think it does much to further the naturist/nudist cause. I'll continue to support FCN, TNS and other clubs and websites but I'm really not sure how much longer I'll stay here. It's just discouraging.
I feel like such a prude here and yet I don't really think I am .... ah well. I'll give it another month or two. Thanks for listening to me vent a bit.
