What DOES YOUR username mean?((((Last Page. ))))Mine's pretty self explanatory, but I often wonder how   some of the more obscure ones came about.   Is it your nick name, if so how did it come about?   If it's not a secret, please tell us here.   Phil.ps.   If you want be included on the forum ranking list, please make a comment here (even if it's only to say Hi) as having everyone in the same place, saves me a lot of time when updating it. Thanks   Phil.pps.

backroadsdriver - Refers to my hobby/passion/addiction, which is navigational road rallies.  I compete as a driver and a navigator,
as well as write them.  And of course, backroads are the best to drive.

lol...Thanks for bumping this up to the top, Super.  I always like to know why people call themselves what they do and I would've missed it otherwise.

For me my name was born out of frustartion.  I used to play an online game called Asheron's Call and I wanted to make a new character, but with a cool sounding name.  So I made Dark Hawk, they woudln't accept it, then Black Hawk, that didn't work either, this process went on for about an hour and all my names kept getting rejected.  So finally out of frustration at around 2am I put Swifthawk and it worked. lol...actually didn't really like the name, but it stuck and it's been my online persona ever since.

p.s. Should add that I like hawks & falcons, so that's why the affinity for hawk. lol

If someone was giving me a "game name", it would probably be "gray buzzard".

My handle "Nuderunr" simply stands for "Nude Runner."  I have been a runner most of my life and have regularly competed in road races for many years at distances up to and including full marathons (26.2 miles).  Long before I actually became interested in nudism, I had been curious about what it would be like to actually run in the nude.  It was just a few weeks ago that I actually got to try it while visiting my first resort and it was as fantastic as I had imagined it might be.  So now I am truly a nude runner and can't wait for my next opportunity to run without having to wear clothing.

Name, and zip code. Not too imaginative, but can convey what I wish to convey in some cases.
That, and the nic by which I'm known almost everywhere ( in the USA anyway ) was already taken.

I loathe shoes as much as I loathe clothes. I can be shodless more often than I can be nude.
The barefoot moniker started a few years ago. I was going to an audition without shoes, and the director said, "I see we have Barefoot Bill here today." For me its a good nickname, and people remember it.

Randy and I have a niece who is about two years old and she calls each of us "Randyvon" Instead of calling him Randy and me Yvonne or Von, so I am aunt Randyvon and he is uncle Randyvon. We both think it is precious.
One time we were playing Marco Polo in the pool at a friends house and I would say "marco" and our niece would say "Randyvon" instead of "polo" too cute.

I've been known as 'Beachcomber' on various sites since the mid 90's when I first started using the internet at home  We live on an island and excercise our dogs on the beach evey day. We also spend a lot of time nude in the dunes at the remote northern end of the island. I sometimes have to be creative with the spelling when joining a new group as it appears to be a popular name and I can't use it if someone else has it registered before me.  However, I refuse to be known as anything else (I've had the name so long)
