I have a copy of the original game from day one, up to Oct 26, 2010 totalling 1267 words. Your move. Tom ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh wow Tom! .... Ok, well we don't need two on the go. Ignore the new start and just paste it in here, and well go from there.

PhilfreeeukOriginal PosterJan 14, 2011

Why do we keep copying the whole thing each time? It is getting rather awkward, and it must be wasting something :) Could we not just copy the last line, and create another block of words, until that one gets too unwieldy, then repeat the process again?

Anyone disagree? YES!

Ditto

Oh!

PhilfreeeukOriginal PosterJan 20, 2011SilverSurfer said ..........
Phil, I love how you have the last page at the top to click onto. Wish more were done that way in the forum. Makes it a heck of a lot easier. Explain how you do it so maybe others will catch on?
Hey Silver! ..... glad someone appreciates it :) It is posted in a few places, but I just had a job to find it, so I'll put in the FAQ's. How to put a "LAST PAGE" link, on a thread. Go to the last page and copy the url in the top address bar to your mouse. Go back to the your first post and click edit. Type in the top right-hand corner the words "LAST PAGE" (It's best if you make the link bold, so that people realise that it is a link) Then, first highlight the words again, and then click on the "Insert/Edit Link" icon. (left of the tree pic icon) A box will appear, (you might have to wait for it to load) Paste the url into the top field, where it says "Link URL" then click "insert" then "ok" and then "submit" and you'll have a link that goes straight to the last page. Only down side is, when more pages are added, you have to manually go back into the link and change the page number at the end. Just highlight the link, click on Insert/Edit Link" and change the number at the end and save it. On this one, I have taken it a step further and created a link in advance, showing the reply numbers, just in case I'm not around when a new last page is created. (Wise decision, I've just been off line for four days, and you didn't even notice! :) There is an error (one difference in the number of replies between the home page and the actual page) but as you probably realised, if you note the number of replies on the home page, before you open the thread, you will know which link to click on, to go straight to the end.
